Sent this drive to Seagate for repair today. I've owned five previous had drives from Lacie. This is the first to fail. Was noisy from day 1. I don't recommend these drives. I still have one. We will see how long it last. Not sure if quality control has lapsed since Seagate aquired them.

I needed to expand my storage for photos and videos of the family. Nice with a 10TB. Also, I have a 5D3, and having the CF and SD slots to download quickly is great compared to my older reader. With my iMac, it works great.
The 10TB Thunderbolt G Drive I bought clattered and crashed. B&H's return process was effortless for which I am grateful. I replaced it with the LaCie 10TB Thunderbolt. This drive is fast and has the additional benefit of 2 Thunderbolt ports plus a Display Port, freeing up a Thunderbolt port on my iMacPro. It also has USB and a SD card slot.The thing that gives me concern is it clicks when accessing or writing data. It's not as loud as the G Drive was, but I'm making sure I am backed up to two other drives, just in case.
Plug and play, runs smoothly, quiet, no issues.
I am just using it and so far it is fast, reliable, and seems strong. I hope it continues this way.
Good speed, enough capacity.
