It is exactly what I did not want. I wanted a drive that was compatible with Win7 computers. The online info said it was compatible. The box says minimum OS is Win10. The is is completely useless to me.

This case is attractive and fits the Raspberry pi 3+ like a glove. There are some negatives however. The screws supplied are apparently too long or the holes are not tapped deep enough and they bottomed out before getting snug. In addition, the screws go in hard and I stripped the head on two of them trying to get them to tighten. This is a big problem in my opinion. In addition, the GPIO pins are not accessible once the case id closed up and this will definitely hinder any experimentation/development efforts. This would be a great case for a Kodi application. Other than the screw issue, the case is good for a lot of applications as long as you are not trying to do active development w/ the IO.
Initial setup was a bit confusing but upon completion the drive works as advertised. Secure login required to access the drive when mounted each time.
I bought two LaCie drives: a 2TB and a 4TB. I have several other HDs. Compared to these they stink. These drives are durable and super easy to use. Their construction makes them a little larger but worth it...just look at them and feel them. Great!
I use them for daily backup when I travel and for offsite backup. Not as fast as an SSD but fast enough for what I use them for. I've never had a problem with any of them.
I really wish I could like this product as all of my fellow photog friends do, however within the month I purchased it, it corrupted and I lost about 5 years worth of work on it. Thankfully I had a backup elsewhere but the drive was deemed unreadable and I had to throw it away. Switched to buffalo since then.
There isn't much to say about this drive. I plugged it in and it worked as it is supposed to work. I've little problem with it. I gave it four stars because sometimes I get a message in Windows that there is a problem with the drive. I have not experienced a problem beyond receiving those messages, so the issue my have more to do with an old usb hub than with the drive itself.
Supposed to work with IMac but would not mount. Completely useless for iMac and Mac Book Air. Defective?
