I found my ideal temperature on my thick frizzy hair is about 160-180 degrees. It goes up to 220 degrees. It heats up fast. I would of liked to have a beep sound when it heated up to my selected temperature though. The handling design of this air styler was comfortable to hold and is easy to manoeuvre from top of hair roots for straightening down hair without snags. The plate clamp holds hair so well when straightening as well as when creating the curls. The cord swivels also and I didn't get caught up when moving it around my head. The Precision air vents were useful when I was trying to curl my hair. I found waves were much easier to create than curls, but these could be a user error. I like the versatility in the product, relative ease of use, swivel cord and new air vent feature. But this is not my favourite hair styling tool.
