It doesn't hold in hair properly and breaks easily.

I have fine curly hair. These combs are great to provide options for many different uses. They help with styling, holding my hair up for the gym & to create a style for my thin fringe for the day. The black blends with anything you wear.

I bought a 4-pack of the BLACK side combs. They do not slide into my hair properly, the teeth catch and pull my hair. Because it is not possible to tuck them into place properly, they fall out of my hair quickly.I have bought the 'shell' colour combs in the past, and had no problems with them - they are cheap and cheerful, they last about a month of use before the tips of the teeth fray, making in the combs difficult to tuck in. I consider those reasonable value for money.I don't know whether it's the quality of all (black and shell colour) combs has deteriorated recently, or if the black combs have always been bad. (Or if I was just unlucky with a back batch of mouldings.)
