Lady Jayne - Large Shell Barrell Claw Grip

I bought 5 because such great reviews by others, I don't know why it's called 'large', medium at best, and there is no measurements shown, it won't hold my hair securely.

I bought this to replace my last one which broke (hinge fell apart). I was dismayed to find that it is at least two cm shorter (smaller) than my last one and it doesn't hold a large volume of hair as well as the older model. Also, the shell colour has changed from a lovely amber colour to very dark amber (almost muddy brown) and the ends are rough - not attractive or very useful.

I have long hair, and this Claw Grip was advertised as holding long hair. It doesn't hold mine. This is disappointing - I've wasted my money and I'm still looking for a hair clip.
