I have always had a cheap and nasty $10 brush. I have thick and long hair doesn't tangle too much but i have so much frizz and broken strands. I only just brought this today and wow it feels so nice in the hair and only after a few strokes i can start to feel the nourishing boar bristle effects. I'm going back to buy my sister one.

Amazing! I have a Mason Pearson brush that I love, but I wanted a second brush so looked into similar but cheaper alternatives and found this. I love it! Works as well as my MP!

Just rushed up to Chemist Warehouse to grab one of these brushes, saw on sale. Got home and immediately started brushing my medium long hair. Like Wow. This is the perfect brush for super soft, super smooth and super glossy hair. Perfect size, shape, and combination of boar bristle and synthetic fibres. It massages your scalp, whilst smoothing the lengths of hair. My hair already looks just amazing. Love, love this brush. So glad I grabbed it.This particular model, the Lady Jayne Premium Brush, with the combined bristles, is definately the one to get. I also have a LJ cushion boar bristle only, which is nice, but does, not compare with the Premium Brush, so take the tip, and go for this one. You'll be very happy

I'm an old Mason & Pearson user, who never wanted to pay the premium price to replace the old one when it gave up. I was thrilled to find this cheaper option that gives a similar brush and massage, just without the high quality handle. It's not quite as nice to hold as the M&P, but the brush is still excellent!
I finally got my hands on the famous Lady Jayne Premium Hairbrush. Absolutely reaches the high standards! I’ve had it for a few weeks now and it’s perfect for all your hair needs. Detangling, styling and brushing wet hair too! I’ve been using it for tying my hair up in a high ponytail, buns and braids as well. A brush that never lets me down. Overall, fabulous hairbrush.
I bought this brush the other day and are so happy that I did! By far the best brush I have used in my hair in years !! Amazing quality that leaves my hair shiny and smooth. Detangles my hair without damaging it. The bristles feel so nice on my scalp and not scratchy like other brushes. Worth the extra dollar for a product of such amazing quality!

When I drew it out of the box, I was surprised at its quality. There were no sharp moulding edges, nice quality boar bristles (They're not fake), and the nylon pins are free of seams. There's even gold branding on the handle, which, as of having it for a few months now, and after several baths and almost daily use of the brush, remains as on there as day one. (which is more than I can say for my nylon MP which I've only had for a few weeks and is already rubbing off, and I don't use it anywhere near as often.) I was impressed upon first actual use of it too. I found that it did indeed get through all of my hair. To the point where it gives you a lovely little scalp scratch on every use. It was decent at detangling, and never yanked on my hair, or pulled it out. As someone with very long hair, I suffer from never-ending lint attacks, and using this brush certainly picks the buggers up, it works brilliantly with light oilings, distributing them throughout my hair, leaving it gleaming like silk. (I never put the oil directly onto the brush) Though it can do that without oil in my hair too. In the three months I've used this brush, I've seen a pretty big difference in the condition of my hair, and my poor old ends seem happier too. Also, the bristles have survived several washings and daily hair removal (Following cleaning instructions and cold water) without moulting as bristle brushes do. Not a single boar hair has come out yet. It's become my favourite brush, and now, I'm questioning whether I'll even get the mixed MP. When this one dies (It feels like that might be ages away, lol) I'll probably just re-purchase this one.Dear Lady Jayne, don't stop making this little guy. It's on par, if not better than an MP. As I stated earlier, I have a nylon MP, and this is better than it. AND for much less than one, too. I paid $50 for it. Yes, that's still steep for most, but my gosh is it worth it!(Note: I'm not brave enough to use a boar bristle brush of any kind on wet hair. That's what my MP is for, so I don't know how it performs there.)
I was recommended this brush by my sister and it is absolutely fabulous. Amazing quality that leaves my hair shiny, smooth and manageable. The bristles feel nice on my scalp and not scratchy. I would definitely recommend paying a little more for this brush than a cheaper type of brush as the results are significant.
The perfect brush for thick hair. The boar bristles in this brush are high quality and last really well without falling out. It is stiff enough to get through my thick hair, giving a good brushing and adding shine but also gentle enough not to do damage and break my hair. I love this brush especially for creating smooth ponytails or upstyles, and I always use it for this. It gets through my hair with ease, I have thick hair and this brush detangles and smoothes my hair easily without breakage . I highly recommend it and would purchase it again
Do NOT buy this hair brush. It is the worst hair brush I have ever had. It does not get the knots out of my hair unless I sat and brushed my hair for an hour, one of the bristles came out after a few days. It just does not feel like your hair is being brushed. For $30 I feel ripped off!
