Favourite in Slow Cooker. I will snap these up when on special, or better still, marked down, to freeze and use for winter slow cooker stews - comfort food . To think that a delicacy today, used to be as cheap as anything from local butcher shops … a bag for the dogs

Amazing. Love, love, love! These are great especially slow roasted with tomato and rosemary and served with creamy mashed potatoes!

Great Quality. Wooworths does not compromise quality or portion size when it comes to their lambshanks, which are also very reasonbly priced. The lambshanks also freeze well for use at a much later stage, and are easy to thaw and prepare for slow cooking. Make sure to give them a good wash before cooking though, as they do tend to have small "gritty" pieces, which I'm assuming are bits of bone

Great lamb shanks. I buy these regularly to use in my favourite slow cooker lamb shank recipe. They have been consistently good - not much fat and the meat falls of the bone when cooked. They are well priced but aren't always in stock at my local Woolies.

Tender and great value. I have been purchasing lamb shanks over winter to cook in my slow cooker. They are always well prepared and tightly packaged. The shanks are meaty, fall off the bone tender and great value for money as they are quite large and not fatty. I use them to make slow cooker curries, particularly Massaman, Moroccan lamb shanks and lamb shank, vegetable and barley soup. They are very economical as the meat falls off the bone and the meals can be bulked out with vegetables and served with pastas, mash or rice.

Lamb Shanks upto 1Kg. Very fresh Lamb shanks, I love to make curry Lamb shanks with naan bread PR garlic bread. Very Yummy.

HUGE Shanks. A great quality product that didn't disappoint. I made a Massaman Lamb Shank curry and these were perfect roasting away slowly in the oven. The lamb was very tender and flavourful. The shanks were massive and I couldn't eat a whole one.
