I then follow it with a night time serum or night time moisturiser. Using my ring finger I gently dab the cream under my eyes starting on the inside near my nose. Gently patting i work my way around the bottom, side and a little on top just below my eye brow but not onto my eye lid and a little out towards my hairline. I know you're not supposed to but I sometimes run my finger over the skin instead of just tapping to make sure it's spread and in the areas I want it to be.\nI find that when I wash my wash in the shower in the morning after having applied the cream the night before my eye are feels soft and slightly silky without feeling like there's remaining residue which suggests to me that it's absorbed and done the hard work for me while I've slept.\nLancome lists the benefits of the product as:\n - Helps protect your skin against pollution\n - Targets key signs of youthfulness\n - Fights against the appearance of visible signs of fatigue,Génifique Yeux helps protect your skin against pollution, targets key signs of youthfulness and fights against the appearance of visible signs of fatigue. \n\nIt did take a few weeks to notice a difference in the area around my eyes. I definitely didn't get any new lines or wrinkles.\nI've always wondered at what age I should be using an eye cream to both ward off fine lines and wrinkles but also to help with the few that are starting to appear. It also appears to soothe/ calm the puffiness that's normally there when you wake up in the morning, \n\nWith the price of the product I'm not sure it's one I'd rush out to buy if not having used before. I'm also not 100 percent as to whether I'll repurchase. \nAlthough I did see differences and benefits in the skin around my eyes the changes didn't make me wow or even dramatic enough for others to really notice unless I mentioned something or specifically asked them. I didn't hate it and wasn't disappointed with it but for a comparative price or cheaper there are plenty of products out there that do the same thing.\n

I got this for both my mother and mother in law and they both had the same reaction with very different skin types and sensitivities. They both have the full Génifique line and love it but after multiple attempts with the eye cream it just made their eyes too puffy and irritated. I understand that the rose extracts is supposed to ADD to the “luxury experience” of Lancôme but it’s a little too much for the eye area. I have the absolue and haven’t had any problems but I personally also haven’t tried the genefique so I’m not sure what the main difference is.

I’ve been using the Lancome Advance Genifique Eye Cream for about 10 years. I haven’t seen any dark circle under my eyes, which is a good sign. The cream is lightweight and absorbs quickly into my skin, without leaving any greasy or sticky residue. The formula is incredibly hydrating and nourishing. I usually go to bed late and wake up early, but my under eyes still look good for years. Highly recommend!
I got under eye filler and didn't follow any of my injectionists post injection directions. I know better and this is not my first rodeo with fillers but OH.EM.GEE. I looked like a hot mess and had giant (to me) bruises under my eye. If not for this cream with it's light reflecting qualities and my own color correcting skills, I don't think I could have gone to work. I'm committed to this under eye cream now (and following post-injection instructions).

I love Lancôme products, it’s always on the expensive side but I like to make sure my skin is well taken care of and this brand never disappoints. This Lancôme Advanced Génifique Eye cream comes in a small jar and it’s absolutely luxurious. It’s very creamy and the very min you apply it under eyes you will feel how much it hydrates the under eye area. I apply this at night and in the morning my under eye area is looks soft and very wel hydrated. It works well as a under eye make up base too. It’s not oily at all. Yet to see a big difference with crows feet etc but I still love this
