As a professional makeup artist I was given this mascara complimentary for my honest opinion. Not only do my lashes look great but they feel great as well. They feel very soft and my lashes look longer and more full every time I use it. I can layer it two to three times without getting clumps. I am very impressed with this mascara and look forward to using it more!

I am always on the look out for good mascaras. I bought this one during a sale at Ulta.com . It is a pretty good mascara. I love the shape of the wand. It applies the mascara effortlessly, and distributes the formula evenly without clumping. It gives length as well as lift to your lashes. All that was missing is volume. Overall it's a decent mascara that delivers on doll like lashes.

I was expecting a lot beings lancome has a couple of my favorite mascaras. First I love the packaging it's a nice shaped tube, easy to hold. The brush is also really nice I love the small pointed tip it makes getting corner lashes with ease. What was really disappointing was the fact it didn't seem to want to deposit onto my lashes. I kept swiping but not much product actually sticks to the lashes. So that being said it leaves you with a very natural look. I would not consider it to give you doll eyes, it just looks like you put on a tiny bit of mascara. I usually use a primer but I like to try it first without to see how well it performs on it's own. I spend half my life looking for that "Five-star" mascara. comes pretty close. I love the Bambi effect it gives - making my outer lashes noticeably longer without missing the shorter, inner lashes. It gives me a wide-eyed look that can be achieves with or without adding effects with eyeliner. It does clump a bit, so I recommend curling your lashes first and then combing through them while the mascara is still wet. I hadn't used Dior mascaras in years, but I read an article about Anya Taylor-Joy and she mentioned using Hypnôse. No. I'm not claiming it will give you Anya-like doe eyes, but if the ends of your lashes are on the light side, this is a great product to darken lashes while adding a bit of flair to the outer lashes.

I travel and am on the go frequently so I often find myself using the little lashstash sampler sets from sephora since I like to have a mascara in my purse, my car, my laptop tote and then a few at home. My usual faves for length, lift and volume are Tarte maneater in black, yes they're real by benefit, and better than sex by too faced, in that order. After finding this in my drawer as a former mascara spler redemption item, I finally decided to open it up. It has quickly become my primary mascara that I throw on a quick layer at home with. I have thinner and light colored lashes. This fans them out wonderfully without clumping and the wand is very precise/easy to use. Best Mascara EVER!

Approximately 6 years ago, I started using Lancome Hypnose Dolls Eyes. I am hooked, and will never use another mascara again. It doesn't smudge and gives incredible length to lashes. In fact, on most days, I use it together with a second layer of Lancome Hypnose Drama, to give extra volume too. I don't have the longest or thickest lashes, but have often received compliments, as a result of these great products!

Favourite mascara

I've been using this for a while now and have tried several other Lancome ones (minis) but this one stands out for me. Really does add length and volume, easy to take off with warm water compared to cheap mascaras. My favourite thing is the brush, it captures every lash and gives me a false lash effect (I do use an at-home LVL kit too) but this really accentuates the lash curl. I've had no issues with flaking or smudging and find this easy to build up volume. Wish there was more product in the tube though even though its lasted me a while! Also love the normal Hypnose mascara too.

Hate the wand

Used hypnose before and really liked it. Last time I bought doll eyes by mistake and it’s a waste of money. First of all the wand is really annoying and I can’t use it to put mascara on all the lashes without making smudges. Secondly, I feel like there is no effect of application on the lashes. Cheap brands give more effect. Not sure I’m using this wand wrong but had many mascaras in the past and never had an issue. I’ll add I have thin and spare lashes, but usual mascaras are a lot of volume easily. This one I will throw away as it’s useless

Lashes that pop!

Lancome mascara is the best in my opinion! And doll eyes has to be my go to.Been using this mascara for a year now, and have to say it's my favourite.The shape of the applicator allows you to get into those hard to reach areas, the smaller end is perfect for inner and outer lashes/fanning them out and it seriously makes your bottom lashes pop! So convenient when waking up tired and puffy. Always confident applying it and brings life to my eyes on the most tired of days.Great volume, whilst still looking natural.I love the definition it gives my eyes. Stays on all day, doesn't flake off or smear. Highly recommend!

My go to mascara for a decade!

Love it! I tried various and different ones over the years to compare, seek new brand, find maybe a different look...I always come back to the Doll Eyes! Definitely my favourite, the colour is really intense and when I want a light, nude, natural look, or don't want to have a lot of make up on, I just use the Doll eyes and a nude, natural lipstick and it does what I need!Love it
