This is such a fun and colorfully gorgeous perfume that I was eager to try for the first time. My first impression when I smelled this from the vial was that of a cheaper perfume. Once I actually sprayed this on the inside of my arms, the full scent took effect. I actually came to really enjoy this fragrance. The smell to me is reminiscent of everything you loved about those glossy magazines chock-full of perfume sample cards hidden between the pages. Magazines still do this, but I feel like they used to have a lot more back in the day circa Y2K. This just smells like a delicious magazine to me - and I mean this in the best possible way. The graphics and photographic campaign surrounding this product are aesthetically breathtaking, and I think Zendaya looks truly stunning on the little flyer they shipped with the sample card. On the back of the card is this gorgeous pink rose that seems to be drizzled in gold popcorn kernels and bits of popped corn tossed about. At first glance I completely thought these were jasmines and not popcorn. Leave it to Lancome to make something as commonplace and casual as popcorn a luxurious item. The sharp florals here bounce beautifully off the soft, sugary sweet caramel notes. This is a fun fragrance to wear while going shopping - not convenient store casual but not super pretentious either. Very girly girl, and not trying to be more than it is. I would definitely recommend this perfume for anyone looking to add some fun to their fragrance collection.

It's described as Lancome's "first addictive neo-gourmand scent", which I'd say is pretty accurate. There is definitely some sugary sweetness (caramel popcorn and vanilla), but it's beautifully blended with the roses. I don't get much of the popcorn, but I definitely smell the caramel. This is a very pretty fun fragrance. The longevity isn't bad either! I don't think I'd wear this daily, but I'm in my 30s and feel it may be better suited for younger women...not to say you shouldn't try it if you're older! Bright and Sweet

I bought this as my first real perfume after smelling it in-store. Something about it makes me want to keep coming back for more. The top note is most definitely roses, but not in an "old" way. I do smell the vanilla with the rose, and it's a nice addition. I don't get much of the popcorn/caramel smell at all..so there's that. A little goes a long way - I think it has good lasting power. This perfume is a very unique scent, so it's not incredibly versatile. For versatility, I personally prefer Burberry Goddess. I still love this one!

I bought this perfume on a blind buy, because I couldn't find it in the store to sample. I'm so happy with it and glad that I took a chance. I love sweet and floral scents. This perfume is just what i was looking for. It's floral but not not overly sweet. It lasts for hours and hours. Its almost a mix of V&R Flowerbomb and Prada Candy but not as sweet. The caramel and vanilla notes are very subtle. A great pairing of all of the scent notes. On first spray, I didn't think that I was going to like it. At first it smelled like something an older woman would prefer, but the dry down was fantastic! I couldn't stop smelling it after a few minutes. It was absolutely delicious and unique. Excellent!

This perfume smells so good. I received a sample and sprayed it on my hand. It was okay at first, but I wasn’t so sure about the popcorn note. Later that day I was doing laundry and kept smelling something that smelled REALLY good. I kept sniffing around to see if it were a candle or cleaning product in my laundry room. It was my hand! I immediately ordered a large bottle and have ordered every other size bottle since then. The longevity is great in my skin.

Good fragrance, but misleading

I give this fragrance 4 stars because it is a nice scent and is very long lasting on the skin, BUT the notes are incredibly misleading. It is advertised as a gourmand with notes of rose, buttered popcorn and vanilla bourbon - the ONLY note you actually smell is rose. It is a lovely, mature rose smell, but it is not very sweet and absolutely not gourmand AT ALL. If you are not a floral lover, this may come off as an "old lady" smelling fragrance. If you are going for a more sweet or vanilla scent, this is probably not what you are looking for despite the stated notes. All that being said, it is still a beautiful rose perfume.

I hated this at first...

I am pretty picky with my scents now that I've reached my 30s. I prefer earthy, woodsy, spice scents... clean and fresh. Nothing sweet or unnatural smelling. So the first time I spritzed this I hated it. I even allowed it some time to set into my skin and I still did not like it. I showered after and did not touch this perfume for a few days. I tried this again one morning before work - I have to give this a fair shot. Again, did not like the scent immediately but an hour or so later, this began to smell pretty nice. Once it set into my skin and wore off a bit it began to smell quite lovely. The packaging is beautiful. The bottle alone I will likely keep as decor when (and if!) I ever finish this. Lovely smell, sadly, that's all

I got this on a flash sale and so glad that I did, because I would be upset to pay full price. It smells wonderful, but is gone within an hour. Even on fabric, which unfortunately was a mistake of it's own. It stains a bright orange. The sprayer is also dysfunctional. Sometimes it sprays correctly, but mostly just comes out in a stream. It also continously leaks out to the point that when I remove the lid liquid comes rolling down the bottle. The bottle is nearly half gone and most of it is due to leakage. If you are going to drop this kind of money on perfume I'd splurge on something long-lasting and functional (a recommendation would be Chanel Chance Eau Tendre).

Gorgeous scent , that has the most beautiful fresh crisp opening of all the Lancôme perfumes I’ve tried yet . Light clean crisp freshness at first spray with a beautiful sillage of a buttery sweet fruit rose that lingers on me for for hours . Perfect for any season I’ve received so many compliments on it , especially from my husband who loves it too . I would love a body lotion or butter to add to it . I understand perfumes wear differently on everyone but for me this one is a well balanced superbe’ gorgeous everyday light classy clean & sexy scent - 5 stars all around

As others have stated, I did not particularly fall in love with this fragrance initially. However, I decided to spritz it on one day and it has started to grow on me. The fragrance does seem to soften after it has been on for a while. It does have a sweet floral scent so, if you don't like sweet fragrances, you probably will not like this. I also detect a little bit of the vanilla notes. I tend to like fragrances with subtle vanilla notes so this is a good thing. I honestly can't say that I'd be willing to pay full price for this fragrance but, I tend to use body wash and lotion as my go to for everyday fragrances.
