I was sent a small sample of The new La Vie Est Belle Iris Absolu from Lancôme to try and I have to admit that I was totally in love with this new fragrance from the first spray of it.The la vie Est Belle Iris Absolu is absolutely gorgeous , it is more intense than the original la vie Est Belle but in no way overpowering . It comes in a gorgeous bottle with an infinite crystal smile feature and a gorgeous ribbon attached to the neck of the bottle.It had beautiful green and juicy accents of Fig Accord and Blackcurrant blended with Jasmine Sambac and an overdose of Iris, making it a lot more concentrated .It is enhanced by lovely deep notes of patchouli and a gourmand accord. When I am wearing this fragrance I get so many lovely compliments from people asking what perfume I am wearing, the fragrance is long lasting and suitable for day time or evening. This new fragrance from Lancôme makes me feel alive, confident, flirty and romantic. After trying out the sample over a few days, I treated myself to a bottle of this gorgeous perfume and it looks divine sitting on my dressing table. I will definitely continue to use this beautiful Lancôme fragrance in the future and will definitely be buying it for my family and friends on special occasions.

La Vie Est Belle Iris Absolu is an exquisite fragrance that exudes elegance and sophistication. The top notes of pear and blackcurrant give a fruity, fresh opening while the heart notes of iris, jasmine and orange blossom impart a floral sweetness. The base notes of patchouli, tonka bean, vanilla and praline create a warm, sensual finish. Jasmine and Patchouli suit me so well and I am so glad I have this perfume. The scent is long-lasting and suitable for both day and night wear. Little goes a long way. I only did a night top up spray. Lasted whole night and next day on my clothes. Overall, it's a luxurious and feminine fragrance that is sure to turn heads and receive compliments. Highly recommend it!

I struggled selecting a fragrance here with many descriptions being so similar and reviews being vague. The ‘Fruity Accords’ initially turned me away. However, I went out to test the new Burberry and decided to test this on my other arm and sleeve. WOW!My first impression was very positive. After 2 hours, there were no remnants left of Burberry Goddess, yet Iris Absolu had me to the point I’d lost count of how many times I’d lifted my arm to smell my wrist. 6 hours later, I could still pick up a light fragrance on my body and it was still very easily noticeable on my clothing whereas Burberry was long gone on my skin and clothing hours prior. Shame really, as Goddess is a lovely scent, too.This fragrance is bold, but not obnoxious. No. The best way I could describe the ‘Fruity Accords’ for people that are curious is like this. If we were talking apples (there’s no hint of apple, I’m only using it for an example). Rather than think of apple juice, think of a warm mulled cider. That’s the best way to describe it rather than saying, “warm fruit.” 😂 Don’t think fruit at all, to be honest. You’ll pick up the fig for sure and you’ll love it!The fig is what brings this all together. She’s the responsible friend on girls night out, she holds it all together. The Iris and Patchouli are the girls on the dance floor, everyone sees them, everyone loves them. But that Fig and Blackcurrant, they’re gorgeous, they’re interesting, there’s something enticing about them but you can’t place your finger on what it is.All together, they’re a thick cable-knit throw, your favorite pajamas, the perfect spot on a sectional couch, fall candles, comfort food, fuzzy slippers, the feeling you get when you walk into bath and body works and your sense of smell turns into a full body experience, it’s walking into your favorite coffee shop, it’s the perfect fall temperature, it’s Fashion Island at Christmas Time…It’s a fragrance that will create moments that if someone ever smells it again, they’ll think of you.I have upwards of 200 bottles of fragrance ranging from $30-800 a bottle. If I’m being honest, I never considered this brand because I thought it was something my grandma would wear. Mind you, I’m a grandma at 46, but you know what I mean. This turned into getting a position on my top 10 shelf of my daily fragrances and I’m about to buy another fragrance or two when I finish this.The only con is the bottle. It’s pretty awkward and heavy. I’m currently recovering from a nerve injury so I’m sure that’s making matters worse.
