I love this so much better than the lip sleeping mask. I use this night and day if I don't want to use my chapstick. Besides the fact that it has its own soft spatula and click-in storage in the large cap (should really make use of that space with all of their products - moisturizer and other lip masks/balms), it doesn't dry out my lips in the morning like the lip sleeping mask. I have combo skin, but it gets especially drier in the colder seasons. So applying this balm at night makes my lips so much softer without feeling so tight. On another note, I personally like the smell; it doesn't smell waxy or manufactured or disgustingly floral. Thank God as I easily get headaches

Firstly I must admit that I am a sucker for the adorable packaging of this lip treatment by Laneige, this is more of a daily lip treatment verses their night lip balm which is amazing. This product has a shimmery pearlescent vibe that once applied melts into more of a glassy gloss with barley any shimmer. It has a cooling sensation which isn’t super intense but I believe it does provide a bit of plumping. The scent is fades from minty to tropical, like a frozen pineapple colada. I like that this contains peptides to help reduce the look of fine lines as well as to help plump. It also contains coconut oil which is incredibly moisturizing but keep in mind if you have sensitive skin it could cause irritation/blemishes. Currently, my lips are either extremely chapped or noticeably greasy, so despite my creeping skepticism that maybe it’s unnecessary to have a separate sleeping mask just for my lips, I decided to put this little pink jar to the test. It goes on colorless, and the texture is between that of a very thick moisturizer and a silky balm. A little bit goes a long way, and technically, you only need a tiny amount each time—even less than the amount of product you need for an eye cream. The product comes with a cute little applicator, which I appreciate and wish more brands thought of this. But a clean finger will work, too, in terms of application. They also have expanded the line and have ‘A Lip Glowy Balm’ in all their new scents. They do have a few that are seasonal during Xmas time. I love and use them daily. My two favs are Sweet Candy and Gummy Bear. You don’t need them all but for $22 it will last you over a year. I have been using mine for longer but since I switch back and fourth between them its lasted so long. I would and have recommended this to my family and friends. Key Ingredients: Vitamin C, Shea Butter, Various fruit extracts like Raspberry, Strawberry, and Goji Berry to soothe and soften lips. It also claims to use a special technology called ‘Moisture WrapTM’which’ - creates a mineral network of beta-glucans over the lips to lock in hydration and keep lips moisturized for up to 8 hours. *One thing to note is that it does contain several types of waxes, including synthetic, and a bit of fragrance*

This is not the best experience and I also wonder how cleanly it is to keep using and storing this back into a small container that cannot be opened or cleaned itself. There is a soft cooling/tingling sensation on the lips immediately after application - almost like a tingly minty aftereffect which might be the ‘“plumping†ingredients at work. The pink shimmers are a lovely touch and will dissolve away over time - you definitely have to be looking for them to notice them. The balm in the jar looks iridescent and magical - almost like a unicorn lip balm from a fantasy world. As beautiful as this product looks, I do not believe it to be as effective or functional as the sleeping mask, which will remain my go-to for the ultimate hydration in my lip care routine.

It keeps my lips hydrated for hours on end without a need to reapply constantly, like most balm like products do. Also after applying I can literally feel it doing its magic on my lips IMMEDIETLY. Hydrating them, plumping them, and as an added bonus if you put it on after your lipstick, it helps from the feathering that happens all the time!! Its like a wonder/ all in one lip product, that we all need!! Not only do I use this ALL DAY EVERY DAY but, it also works amazing as an overnight lip treatment to heal your lips if they feel dry or cracked like most of us ladies do thru the winter months! I REALLY wanted to love this - I tried it in a store first and it was what I was most looking forward to from my haul. Maybe I bigged it up too much in my own mind, or maybe it was the packaging that got me! But for me the balm itself was a bit of a let-down - not as thick as I was expecting and I don’t like the smell or taste which is a synthetic fruit smell and chemically taste. I probably should have gone with one of their original night lip masks in vanilla or something. what I did like was the shine and iridescent colour it brought to my lips - it made them look lovely. I hear so much about this brand but it wasn’t as good as other pricey ones like By Terry for me. Great product!!! Have known Laneige from their Lip balms, sleeping masks, and SPF never new they had a lip treatment until my sister got a sample of this treatment. Right away fell in love with using it. You can really feel the hydration right when you put it on. Smells amazing and not to strong I am usually allergic to strong smells this one if perfect smells like pinacolada. It has a very light feeling on the lips and I have been even wearing it as a lip gloss. It gives a perfect glossy look, doesn't look like you are wearing a treatment. I very much recommend for dry lips or even if you just want a hydrating gloss. Definitely should buy if dry lips is a struggle or if you are struggling to find a non drying lip gloss. It's worth the price.

I really like this lip product, I find it has a luminous effect on my lips, as it has very finely milled pigments in it that make my lips shine. Tried it, Tested it, Hate it.

I had high hopes for this product, especially since it’s from Laniege. I tried this product about 4 times, but tossed it out after. It is absolutely horrendous. The packaging is cute and the brush is very practical. However, the product itself is absolutely awful. It has that sickly artificially sweet scent to it — kinda like those scratch and smell stickers as a kid. It smells like it’s filled with QUESTIONABLE ingredients. The product itself DID NOT hydrate my lips what so ever. In fact, my lips felt drier after application. Laniege, I am utterly disappointed, this product should be discontinued.

Very cute

This lip balm has the cutest packaging. I love the cute jar and the having the applicator in the lid is so brilliant.I tried using my finger to get the product but it feels harder than I was expecting, but the silicon tipped applicator works well.The balm is irridescent and pretty, it has a sweet watermelon scent which is nice but quite strong.It leaves an interesting sensation on the lips, the packaging says cooling but it's not overly cooling, it just feels interesting.It makes my lips look plump and juicy. It hydrates them pretty well too.It's a little sticky but it makes it feel like it's staying on the lips, not slipping off.
