I received this as a #freeproduct with #trywithtopbox.The instructions to open this cute pastel purple tube make it seem like it's some volatile, dangerous substance that requires a warning. Like careless people should not use this - it's only to be used by responsible people who can follow instructions for proper use. Similar to its detailed instructions on how to use it; by slowly increasing the usage weekly. The tiny opening does not allow for much product to come out and it takes some aggressive squeezing to get more than necessary; this is good for the prescribed amount as per instructions. I find that even the tiny dots of product I use go a long way; the cream spreads out to cover more surface area than intended. I think it could be irritating for people with sensitive skin but this product is definitely not as strong as others, which is why it may not be as effective.

I'm a big fan of Laneige products and rotate a number of them throughout my seasonal skincare. As for retinol, I prefer to use products containing it in the winter, as I'm not outdoors often in these cold months and don't have to worry as much about applying SPF religiously. Although this tube may seem small in volume, all you really need is a teeny-tiny amount each night (after the first week of use). I have some wrinkles under and around my eyes and around my mouth as well. I began using this firming treatment every night before bed. A little goes a long way and it has a really mild scent.
