I work with my hands using gloves and wanted something to prevent the gloves from chaffing in a few spots. This feels really rich and like it's going to be highly moisturizing at first when you're applying it. It absorbs really well and doesn't feel very greasy. If you're looking for "intense hydration", this is not the hand cream for you. Although it's thick in consistency, this cream is the polar opposite of "rich". Way too light for my hands. I have been adding Jojoba oil to the cream on my hands because otherwise it just does nothing. Disappointed, because I love some of the Lanolips lip products.

I wrote a review earlier this August detailing how I had a dry patch on one of my knuckles. I am happy to report that that dry patch is barely there. This cream takes about 78 minutes for it to absorb but because I wash my hands every hour for my job this cream doesn't need to be reapplied. I am using 2-3 pea size amounts but it's worth it. I don't find the aroma offensive. It reminds me a very mild suntan lotion fragrance.

This is absolutely heavenly and smells amazing. I sanitize and wash my hands all day long at work. On my current assignment, the hand sanitizer makes my hands peel, especially after working subsequent days. When I use this, however, it protects my hands from the sanitizer and I haven't had any peeling issues since! Please make bigger tubes because not only do I love it, but my coworkers do as well.
I love Lano's multipurpose balms products, they are a lifesavior, but their hand cream and their foot cream make my skin drier rather than moisturized. I will be returning this. I wouldn't recommend this particular product. I have cracked dry skin on hands and feet and am always on the hunt for products that can help. Based on my experience with the balm, I thought this might be good. But I was disappointed

This is a very thick hand cream, not for those who like light, easily absorbed lotions. It leaves a protective layer of lanolin that helps when I am washing my hands a lot. It does dry down after a few minutes, it doesn't stay oily too long. I mix it with the golden salve at night for an extra boost of moisture while I sleep. I have bought several tubes of this and will always come back for more!

It is not my favourite kind of texture - I much prefer balm textures. This is a VERY rich hand cream, I use it at night. Applying it before bed keeps your hands nourished during the night. I have very dry hands and I use moisturizer at least twice a day, but this one is so greasy that better to be used at night. Other than that, nice smell and very nourishing.
When I first try a new lotion, I go lightly because I never know if it will be too much. I dislike greasiness. I use a bigger pea size. The smell out of the tube was a bit strong but it didn't smell sour. I love the smell on the coconut and it's pretty faint so if you don't like fragrance, this is a very faint fragrance. Within minutes, it's soaked into my skin. I am using this to experiment with the dry patch around my knuckle and if it gets rid of that, then it's a winner in my book because I've tried all kinds of lotions and creams to get rid of that dry patch. This tube will probably last for months if I only use it on my hands and elbows.
