My grandma is going through radiation treatment for cancer. Due to the treatment, she gets really big open sores that appear on her lips. I looked around for the best lip balms for soothing irritation and came across this one. Her sores went from being super dark, crusty, and bloody to being softer, lighter, and no bleeding. They even shrunk in size! All of this happened in just THREE DAYS. I am going back to repurchase one for myself, but this lip balm is the best I’ve seen. They even have cute tinted colors I may try out soon.

This lip product is wonderful. It gives a slight minty feeling and is very thick. When squeezing it out of the tube, go with a light hand. If you squeeze too much out, it’s extremely glossy and sticky on the lips. I tend to use a very small amount and spread it all over my lips. In this case, I find less is more! My only complaint is, I wish it was a little less glossy, but it is very moisturizing. It is also a little sticky. All Lano products are AMAZING and I wish they would bring ALL their products to Sephora Canada! This isfrom someone who has at least 30+ different lip treatments and lip balms. This one is really great!

I bought this last week and I am already wanting to buy the rest of the collection as this is one of the best lip balms I have tried. It is a nice way application and stays on and moisturises your lips for a very long time. It is the perfect mintyness and it has a beautiful glossy finishOverall it is an amazing product definitely worth your money.

I have the worst chapped lips, and staying hydrated has nothing to do with it. I did take an intense acne medication known for drying lips and skin (rhymes with smaccutane) about 15 years ago and I guess maybe my lips just never recovered. I never found a chapstick that really had a lasting effect, and resigned myself to either reapplying chapstick every hour or having peeling painful cracked lips. I saw a review for Lanolips on Buzzfeed and although I was very reluctant to spend that much money on a tiny tube of anything, I was desperate. Buying Lanolips was the best decision I ever made. Now my lips are so healthy, and Lanolips is what saved them. I later tried Glossiers balm dotcom and it is a great product for maintenance, and not quite as sticky, but it doesn't ... MoreI have the worst chapped lips, and staying hydrated has nothing to do with it. I later tried Glossiers balm dotcom and it is a great product for maintenance, and not quite as sticky, but it doesn't hold a candle to the healing ability of Lanolips. I will never willingly be without a tube of this in my house again. And the mint flavor is perfect! If you have struggled with chapped lips please try this product.

Glossier Dupe!
6 November 2021

I've been in love with the Glossier balmdotcoms for ages now, but I hate that their tubes aren't made for applying into lips! I've been searching for a decent dupe to them for a while now, and this is a perfect dupe for the Glossier mint balm flavor. The consistency is pretty liquid once it melts with your lip temperature, but is semi-thick in texture which is perfect for my lips. My lips get easily chapped very often and they require consistent lip balm application, so I tend to go for more thick textures... plus thicker textures make my lips feel like they've been swaddled in pillows. This balm is pillowy with that lovely mint tingling sensation that mint balms give. This balm also doesn't taste like anything which is something I personally enjoy as I don't want ... MoreI've been in love with the Glossier balmdotcoms for ages now, but I hate that their tubes aren't made for applying into lips! This balm does have a bit of fragrance from the mint, so be warned if you're sensitive to fragrance.TLDR::I would recommend this if you:- want a thin consistency that warms up to your body temperature.- want something pillowy on your lips.- like thicker textures in balms.- don't want to taste your balms.- enjoy a minty tingling sensation.- love Glossier's lip balms.I would not recommend this if you:- don't like thicker textures in your balms.- want something that doesn't give a tingling sensation on your lips.- want a balm that has an actual flavor to it.- are sensitive to fragrance.

Hate lipgloss but makes exceptions

The consistency isn’t too bad. I hate anything on my lips! However, coming into the colder months I need to make an exception. This one is nice consistency and the scent isn’t strong enough to remind me that I have it on. Not to mention, if I forget and lick my lips, my tongue doesn’t feel funky after.

I’m hooked!
10 January 2023

I must admit, I’ve tried a LOT of balms, but this one BY FAR is the best quality I’ve ever used. It stays on for hours and even healed the cracks in the corner of my thumbs (I get them every winter). It took the pain away immediately and you could already see an improvement within a couple hours. Very impressed! I would definitely purchase another balm when I run out!

Not my fave Lanolips product BUT
18 April 2023

Still better than using any other brand! Compared to the other balms I’ve tried from this brand, the mint is thicker and the smell is more ‘medicinal’ than ‘fresh tin of mints’. However, I have noticed some slight plumping effects to my lips when using this mint balm which is an unexpected bonus.TLDR; not my fave scent of the Lanolips balms, but makes your lips plumper.

im trying to find a dupe for the glossier lip balms since they changed the formula. I've seen multiple people saying lano is much better so I picked it up at ulta. here's my thoughts.it's much more moisturizing than laneige in my opinion. but not better than glossiers original balm dot com. the lano lip balms, I would consider, are more like lip masks. I applied a decent coat on my lips and it has lasted me four hours of hydration. however it's hard to apply to the lips. it's very thick which I personally don't like. I prefer a more thin formula for easy application. I would have also preferred a more tingly sensation on my lips with the mint flavor.therefore, this lip balm is way better than laneige (+ cruelty free!) but is not better than glossier. if ur skin tolerates lanolin then this is a fantastic lip salve! super simple, no frills kind of balm that works exactly as it should, vitamin e and peppermint oil are great for soothing my lips as well. i’m glad the ingredient list is so simple since i can get the most out of these.i suffer from chronically dry lips despite being physically hydrated and the condensation from wearing a mask at work has made them worse. pop this on overnight and my lips are smooth and not peeling off by the morning.great occlusive balm for both overnight and daytime use, only need a small amount since it’s very spreadable and not hard to work with (unlike the bite agave lip mask). not sticky and the peppermint is very mild! i do find i have to apply it multiple times throughout ... Moreif ur skin tolerates lanolin then this is a fantastic lip salve! super simple, no frills kind of balm that works exactly as it should, vitamin e and peppermint oil are great for soothing my lips as well. i’m glad the ingredient list is so simple since i can get the most out of these.i suffer from chronically dry lips despite being physically hydrated and the condensation from wearing a mask at work has made them worse. pop this on overnight and my lips are smooth and not peeling off by the morning.great occlusive balm for both overnight and daytime use, only need a small amount since it’s very spreadable and not hard to work with (unlike the bite agave lip mask). not sticky and the peppermint is very mild! i do find i have to apply it multiple times throughout the day but a little goes a long way and it doesn’t leave my lips feeling extremely chapped without it (unlike many other chapsticks)a little pricey for a balm but definitely a great investment and i’ll be repurchasing many back ups
