Hi, I have ultra dry skin everywhere + ecemza that pops up all year round. My hands are one of the prime spots where my eczema loves to flare up with rashes. I apply this one to my hands with my eczema lotion. With this combined with my medicine, it performs so AMAZINGly. The scent is noticeable usually I'm not a fan of floral scents. I RARELY use ANYTHING floral smelling because of my allergies. This doesn't bug me or my skin. It's light, velvety, creamy, and absorbs well into the skin. Leaves a nice glow and will not irritate your skin. I've purchased so many products from this brand for a couple of years now. Irs a skin and lip staple for me.

I love rose scented anything, but this does not really smell like roses. It has a weird smell of ash and something medicinal, I barely smell anything remotely floral. The feel of this hand cream is so off putting. Don't bother with this.

Disappointed. This aint it.

If you're looking for "intense hydration", this is not the hand cream for you. Although it's thick in consistency, this cream is the polar opposite of "rich". Way too light for my hands. I have been adding Jojoba oil to the cream on my hands because otherwise it just does nothing. Disappointed, because I love some of the Lanolips lip products.

This is the best hand cream I've ever used, honestly. I've been using it since it was first made available. It disappears into my skin rapidly as my hands are very dry and dehydrated. They're also very sensitive and easily irritated, so having to wash them multiple times daily with soap, as well as frequently applying sanitiser hasn't helped them during the ongoing COVID crisis. This hand cream has always instantly saved and soothed my skin. I've ventured off to other companies, trying other pricier, supposedly more luxurious creams, but I've always returned to Lano. The quality is exceptional. The invisible barrier that this cream creates is brilliant, keeping my hands protected and hydrated. Lanolin really is a miraculous product. The invisible barrier that this cream creates is brilliant, keeping my hands protected and hydrated. Lanolin really is a miraculous product. Lanolin is probably the best anti-ageing product/ingredient, yet so many companies don't use it thus making a huge mistake with their ingredient content. The rose (original scent) is subtle and pleasant. I loved the lemon fragrance while it lasted. I do wish another there were another citrus scent, as vanilla, coconut, and milk & honey aren't as traditional plus they're all quite sweet (not that the scents are that overpowering, but also, sweeter ones tend to attract mosquitoes which isn't a bonus for those of us in Australia.) Another floral and/or citrus scent will always get my vote and would be greatly appreciated! Please, don't stop making this - it's the main product of yours that I rely on regularly.Thank you Lano.

This is a lovely hand cream, it’s super thick which is great as I like a thicker cream for my hands. I use this overnight and it’s really helped with my dry hands. The scent is lovey and light, will definitely be buying more from this brand.

Great hand cream for this nurse/mom of three
15 February 2018

I am a nurse, and also have sensitive hands - I feel the cold a lot, tend to be dry, and I can get deep splits/cuts on my finger/thumb tips in the winter - so a good hand cream is a must for me. I wash my hands a lot and it's hard finding a cream that truly deeply moisturizes and doesn't just get washed down the drain. This one is great. I don't like the feel of it initially when applied, but it soaks in and ends feels like a nice protective layer. It's not irriating to broken skin. It's not lotion-y or "wet"/slippery feeling like other hand creams I've tried. Nice and thick; a little goes a long way. I've used it when starting to get cracks on the tips of my fingers and by the next morning they feel a lot more comfortable and are on the mend. Minus one star only ... MoreI am a nurse, and also have sensitive hands - I feel the cold a lot, tend to be dry, and I can get deep splits/cuts on my finger/thumb tips in the winter - so a good hand cream is a must for me. I love all the Lanolips lip balms and I thought this hand cream would be just as good. It's not as moisturising as I thought it would be. I probably wouldn't purchase this again as there are better hand creams out them. Such a shame as the lip balms are great.

Never bothering with any other hand treatments again

I've known about this product for a long time but until recently it was only available from UK and Australia websites, I'm SO happy someone in the US finally started carrying this since it is hands down the best moisturizer I've ever used. I've tried everything from Udder Balm and Corn Huskers lotion to Aquaphor and Vaseline and everything in between. This is the only thing I've found that gives you lasting moisture without a greasy feel and this is coming from a girl who's hands reach sand paper status when I forget to moisturize. Seriously, my cuticles peel, my palms feel rougher than lizard skin, and all the ridges in my palm print and fingers turn white. The only thing I've found that comes close is Mary Kay's hand treatment kit but Lano is preferable since it ... MoreI've known about this product for a long time but until recently it was only available from UK and Australia websites, I'm SO happy someone in the US finally started carrying this since it is hands down the best moisturizer I've ever used. Seriously, my cuticles peel, my palms feel rougher than lizard skin, and all the ridges in my palm print and fingers turn white. The only thing I've found that comes close is Mary Kay's hand treatment kit but Lano is preferable since it requires less labor and only one product as opposed to two. I personally prefer to use it before bed as a treatment so that my skin will absorb as much as it can; I use a cheaper hand lotion during daylight hours. That said, the only con I found was the price. It IS a bit on the pricey side when you consider how little product is included and this IS a hand cream. Buy it when it's on sale and/or take advantage of the BOGOs and coupons. I did my homework now that more American websites are catching on to this product and compared prices. While a few of the products are priced the similarly, most of them are more expensive here than on other websites. When you take advantage of the sales however, and use the Ulta coupons, you end up getting them for about the same price. Gotta love those Ulta sales...

Not Worth the Few Extra Bucks
16 October 2022

While this does its job of moisturizing my hands, it is a complicated procedure because you have to warm it up between your hands very quickly and then apply it to your hands quickly as well or else it won't apply right and leaves a sticky and greasy sheen over your hands. I thought this would be worth the extra $5 or so that I spent over my normal hand cream but I'm just going to go back to my other nightly hand cream, as this lotion has complicated my nightly routine.

This is a MUST for those with psoriasis on their hands.
8 December 2020

This stuff is AMAZING. I have psoriasis that has flared on my palms for almost a year now, and nothing else I have used works nearly as well as this. Less than a week into using this daily and my skin is almost cleared up! It soothes my skin, so it's not even as itchy or sore as it normally is. It does smell a little like a grandmother's attic full of perfumes clothes, but that's a small price to pay to have my skin back to normal. I seriously woke up and started crying when I noticed how clear my skin is now. it doesn't feel greasy, stays on for hours, and did I mention it cleared up all the dry skin due to my psoriasis??? It is worth every penny.

Psoriasis sucks but this is awesome originally posted on ulta.com
