Went into the store to purchase this yesterday and it was very very solid. Not sure if it was expired or what but it almost felt chalky. It wasn't sheer at all! And the color was so light I would definitely only recommend for very pale lips. Unfortunately I didn't get a receipt otherwise I would have returned.

So many tinted lip balms don't provide sufficient SPF, so I had my doubts when I saw this one. I looked up the sunscreen ingredients for this lip balm on the lanolips website, and YES they do provide sufficient, broad-spectrum protection: ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate(spf), benzophenone-3 (spf), butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane (spf).
