Unless you grew up around middle eastern fragrances or have at least 15 or 20 other bottles of cologne in your collection this might not be for you as I can't see this being an every day fragrance. This is like if Paco Rabanne made a middle eastern flanker to one million. The vanilla, cardamon and cinnamon save this from going into the trash. It has this airy, slightly warm spiciness to it .This is an EDP concentration and I remember washing my hands as I tried about 5 fragrances yesterday and this one stuck on so this other youtuber wasn't joking about that. The slight smokiness in the back bone the oud and other notes play are a supporting role but I would have went with way less. Though this was never marketed towards a North American market and I got this from a perfume store that is more international. I guess this is a better introduction than some such as Bentley Absolute or other middle eastern fragrances you can start with. The presentation is unreal for this price, the little box makes this seem like a much more expensive fragrance than it is. I can see this being worn by women or a cheap clubbing scent in the middle east but if I had to pick one to save from a fire oud for glory without any hesitation.

This cologne is OK it’s not all that it’s cracked up to be there is a certain smell. I can’t put my finger on it but there are better fragrances out there. The bottle design is beautiful. The packaging is beautiful. The projection is strong but overall I didn’t like the smell of it maybe it’s the cinnamon it smells synthetic, and it really wants to smell like stronger with you intensely.

Another Blind Buy success

There are 3 reactions I had to this spray1. Initial spray is room filling sweet, amber, spicy notes… omg I love2. Second spray on skin was, chemical smelling, oudy( similar to Tom ford oud wood! Hmm I was sure if I liked it.3. The dry down is where the magic happens for this Lattafa fragrance. The vanilla cinnamon spicy cigar tabacco, woodsy smell is amazing.Seriously give this product about 30 minutes to settle and you’ll love it. The mixture of the vanilla and cinnamon, with the earthy notes makes this a unisex fragranceOverall product 9/10Blind buy risk 7/10 because of my second reaction

Good Performance, Plasticy Smell

Performance is good (projection and longevity) so if you like the scent, this is a 9/10 buy. It's mostly sweet and spicy, with slightly darker notes as it dries down. The specific spice profile is unique which is nice. Unfortunately I'm not a big fan of the smell. The actual scent is not terrible but the product as a whole is disappointing. You can really tell it is cheap from the smell and this is the only fragrance that has ever irritated my skin (I'm guessing it was the alcohol). This is also the only fragrance I own that when I smell the nozzle/atomizer to get a whiff, the smell of the bottle itself contaminates the smell of the perfume. It is a soft, aquatic plastic smell that is not there when you apply the fragrance. The quality of the fragrance is certainly unique and the scent is reminiscent of high-end niche perfume. I love this scent. It is a spicy, warm, slightly sweet scent with a creamy center, and the dry down is a soft wood with a touch of leather. Longevity is roughly 4 to 6 hours, and sillage is around 6 feet. The fragrance leans more masculine, but I feel that women can definitely get away with wearing this perfume. The presentation is outstanding, 100% leather cylinder case with a black velvet interior. The bottle is absolutely stunning. UPDATE: (The quality of the fragrance is certainly unique and the scent is reminiscent of high-end niche perfume.) ***I just received MFK Grand Soir for Christmas, and this smells 90% similar. I do like the dry down of Qaa'ed better.

If you are looking for a similar fragrance to Dunhill

If you are looking for a similar fragrance to Dunhill Icon Absolute this is one of the best senses. Extremely masculine this fragrance and is a loved or hated. I have the original and this one and even there is a slight difference but you can find 90% similar fragrance with the original. Today i received before time expected and once is my 6th time i by this fragrance i can confirm this still exactly the same. This is a very strong fragrance and will stand long in your skin and clothes.

Qaa'ed is another home run by Lattafa. Rich smell of spices, woods & leather. Great Performance.

Qaa'ed is my 3rd Lattafa fragrance and I'm impressed with the Lattafa brand as much as the fragrances they produce and sell at really reasonable prices.My first encounter with Lattafa was their Velvet Oud which is actually more of a sophisticated and versatile leather fragrance rather than an Oud. This stuff is a very upscale leather for a night out or the office in anything but hot weather.Next up, I bought Raghba Wood Intense. The versatility here scores about a 3 out of 10 but I don't give a damn. I love this stuff. It smells like a roaring fire after a day of skiing or a campfire in fall. Only cold weather. Not for the office. Not everyone will love it. But I do! I'd put this right right up there with Bentley For Men Intense as far as my immediate reaction of love at first whiff. The two don't smell anything alike. It's just that they both hit me like a sledgehammer.....oh yeah.....I want more of that!Who doesn't like an opening with cinnamon and cardamom? The spices get balanced out in the mid with woods (cedar and sandalwood) plus saffron and old school carnation. Then the base arrives with sweet vanilla and amber balanced out with masculine Oud and leather. Unlike Raghba Wood Intense, Qaa'ed is not gonna offend many people. It can be used in any weather except high heat and a much wider range of situations like an office. Performance is very strong but not beast mode. But, that's what makes it far more versatile than Raghba Wood Intense so, that's a good thing here.What really stands out here is the cinnamon + cardamom opening , then the vanilla + oud + leather in the base. But there isn't really one dominant note here. It's blended really well for an overall effect rather than highlighting one or two notes. And that overall effect is a mildly sweet, spicy scent with masculine elements like wood and leather that is very well done. It's a very rich smelling blend. I guess this could be unisex but to me it leans more masculine and I don't think a lot of women would cozy up to the spices, oud, and leather. Some may, most won't. For that matter, a lot of younger guys who are used to sweet clubbing fragrances, blue fragrances, and crowd pleasing citrus stuff probably won't like this much either. This is probably for the 35 and older crowd, dressed up, and a night out. Even better!I'm really impressed with Lattafa. As far as I'm concerned, every fragrance I've bought from them has been a home run. This is an affordable niche house in my mind.

However, with that said, Qaa'ed قائد is STRONG upon first spray. In no way is this a unisex scent. Unless... but that's a personal issue. If you remember as a child, the Red wrapper cinnamon candies, well this is the parfum counterpart. After a decent amount of time on you and your natural body oils absorbs it, the smell evolves into a pleasant long lasting aroma of masculinity... what a General, or chief "boss" is intended to smell as. Hence the name Qaa'ed. I will continue to use this until I become comfortable with it, but nonetheless, the House of Lattafa continues to offer bangers for the cost ¹/â ´ tank of gasoline in most states in the U.S. The bottle itself is a mirrored Dunhill golden masterpiece. It has Wright and shine. You can keep the bottle combed as is it display the faux gold look with raised studs for maximum grip. I would have to say this will be best under Fall/ Winter seasons. Wow, can’t praise this enough. Got a bottle of this in the bathroom and the full house is obsessed (especially the men) they can’t get over the price, the smell is absolutely lush, lasts ages. Would recommend for a night but also wouldn’t be out of place for work. I love this personally although it is more manly it really works for women too (in my opinion)
