This milk jug with thermometer is a great addition to my coffee machine. The temperature is accurate and the jugs size and shape works well for a 230ml cup. I have no issues with milk swirling out the top of the jug.
It has been over 20 years since I have made coffee in retail. In that time it has become a much more serious than the on the job training I was given. I got the 600ml jug for making coffee using a bellman. I am getting way more consistent milk than I ever managed when I was doing a couple of 100 a day. The jug makes it a cinch to get the temp right, now I just have to work on judging volume. If you are making for more than 2-3 cups at a time, I’d recommend the bigger jug, but for me this is perfect.
Nice size jug (480ml) for medium size milky drinks (could manage 2 smaller probably), not a latte art aficionado but pours OK as far as I can tell.Like a jug with a thermometer (this has one on the correct side too - being a left hander) for a reference as I seem to lose the touch and timing for the perfect milk temp if I'm not steaming all the time.Thermometers seems pretty responsive and don't lag too much, and has colour references for the bars that give 2.5(?) degree increments. I haven't put it in the dishwasher, ...and they haven't come off.
