Laurent Perrier La Cuvee is the first new champagne to be introduced by the house since 1981. Though a replacement for Laurent Perrier's traditional Brut NV expression, it is far more than simply a new label, with an entirely new composition. A pale straw colour with fine, persistent perlage. Laurent Perrier La Cuvee has delicate, fresh citrus aromas with light floral notes. An exquisite balance between freshness and finesse with a rich and complex palate. Good length in the finish. Laurent Perrier have invested heavily in more vineyards to give them greater control over the quality of fruit used. In the creation of La Cuvee, over 100 crus are drawn upon, giving the champagne great complexity. the wine then spends an extra year in the cellar, ageing for a total of four years on the lees before release. A greater proportion of Chardonnay grape is used in La Cuvee, almost twice that commonly found in other champagne, giving the expression greater freshness and elegance. A greater proportion of reserve wines are also used, providing a more consistent house style between harvests. In addition, a lower dosage is used to create a brighter and cleaner style of wine.

The Champagne! I always have Laurent Perrier- La Cuvée in my cellar! A consistency of taste through the years... inimitable! A freshness and a maturity which make you live a very pleasant moment with each sip! A quality to price ratio unequalled to my taste.

Bought this to help celebrate my daughter's graduation, and it was perfect for the occasion. The nose is elegant, with floral and bready notes. The taste follows right along, it's definitely dry. Just a very nice wine.

Christmas. ?Why not spend the day doing a blind tasting of champagnes? ?Our 5 adult volunteers did this for you.. This was the winner. ?We love champagne and this beat them all. ?Light clean and less acid on the finish than some. ? ?If you like a complex strongly flavoured champagne then this might not be your favourite - we like a vintage for that - but this is now our go-to brand for champagne. ?Or Pol Roger - we needed a second bottle to be sure - but this got our vote. Boxes? Really? ?It is a lovely gift. ?The world needs less unnecessary packaging... It's on offer. ?Buy it!
Absolutely my favorite champaign. Nothing else compares to its silky texture and elegant bubbles. I tried many champaigns both in the same price point and much higher but there is something special about this one. Try it you will love it.
