I use this for my super automatic espresso machine. It is absolutely delicious and produces a large amount of cream. It’s got a chocolate underdone which I love in my coffee - especial since I’ve gone sugar free. It’s a huge amount of beans/package and great price

Has the aroma and taste I associate with classic Italian beans. Lately my taste has been for darker roast espresso, but this one delivers everything expected. Great aroma when grinding and not fussy to extract a good shot.

Excellent product from Lavazza, great flavor and crema. Very competitive price from Whole Latte Love as expected and freshness guaranteed, it's why I keep buying coffee supplies and equipment from them. Next time I'll try the Whole Latte Love whole bean brand.

Distinct nuttiness, with persistent bitter chocolate and a just a hint of dried fruit. Not as complex and balanced as Filicori Zecchini Delicato, which I definitely prefer in an espresso. On the plus side, Crema e Aroma does manage to be more intense than is typically associated with Lavazza, while still being very smooth. Unusually thick crema as well, which is probably due to the high proportion of robusta. I'm much more of a traditional espresso drinker, which is how I always try out blends that are new to me. But, given the flavor profile, I thought that Crema e Aroma would work well in a milk drink. That proved to be true, as judged by the flat whites we had this morning: quite good, but not especially so, at least to my taste. I have a Gaggia Babila and love it. The only thing I don't love about it is that I cannot use dark roast (aka oily) espresso beans. I love a deep, dark, intense and chocolatey espresso shot. I was purchasing Lavazza Top Class and it just doesn't have that intense flavor that I am looking for despite the fact that I have every setting on my machine to pull a bold shot. I asked WLL for something that would better fit my taste profile and the Lavazza Crema e Aroma was recommended. Total waste of $30 :(. Even less intense than the Lavazza Top Class. Not really sure where to go from here.
I lived in both the mainland of Italy on the Boot Hill and on the side of My Etna in Sicily. Lavazza brand coffee is what all the Trattorias, coffee bars and restaurants used. Never saw a different brand in those places. I especially like the Crema with the bit of foam. Check out the pic. I buy the beans because Im a connoisseur and want it fresh but truth be known, even pre-ground would be awesome. I love Lavazza and wont buy anything else. Its nice to have a 15 to 18 pump if you are making espresso. But even the little stove top makers produces fine espresso. If you use a drip maker, a standard grind, but not to coarse. Espresso should be very fine. BTW, 17$ is a very good deal for a kilo. Keep in the refrigerator especially after opening. Good luck and let me ... MoreI lived in both the mainland of Italy on the Boot Hill and on the side of My Etna in Sicily. I was pleasantly surprised! First, I'm not a straight espresso shot guy. I like lattes, mochas, and macchiatos. I don't like dark roasts as to me they taste burnt. SCG had a big coffee sale, so I got on there chat line and asked about a few brands in the medium roast category and that I prefer chocolatey, nutty, and caramel notes. He got back to me a minute later and described Lavazza Crema E Aroma as the best choice of the ones I were considering. The overall flavor was pretty amazing considering it came from the east coast and not a local roaster. We have a local roaster that gets 100% extra fancy Kona beans and even though it's $35 lb. it's definitely a treat you won't forget. Tastes like something I didn't like in the 1980s. You know served bottomless cup style in local cafe.I have been drinking Lavazza for years. My favorite was Pienaroma which was discontinued.I was notified I had a lot of unused points that were going to expire. The other bag I bought from Maromas was what I expected.Bottom line? Not 5 stars, maybe 2. Beware!
For my liking it was a little bit strong in the taste.. Not what I was expecting. Coffee is such an individual thing and anything outside of your comfort zone takes some getting used to. I will see how it progresses towards the end of the bag and decide then if I get another one. Would I recommend it? YES (I'm Here) NO I have cut the strength down on y machine.
We LOVE this lavazza selection!!! Lavazza is the only coffee we will drink and serve. My guests love it also. This is smooth and I love the mocha flavor. LAVAZZA & WHOLE LATTE LOVE are the BEST!!!! I GRIND IT FRESH EVERY MORNING.
