Coffee is a must-have in our household and admittedly we have tried lots of different ones. Lavazza is by far the best - not too strong but still great flavour. We now only buy this one to avoid disappointment!

This is my go-to for aeropress coffee because of cost / benefit balance. It has a tolerable italian flavour, similar to Illy but not quite as poignant, and is of consistent quality so you can develop your method around it if you're into moka pots or whatever.

I do like a single origin bean (this isn't) and I do like to grind myself (this is ground already). But this perfectly ground blend is delicious. I use with a simple drip filter paper (V60). Excellent.

Lovely strong and smooth espresso. The grind is brilliant and perfect for my Italian stove-top espresso maker. The price is brilliant and, on my palate, definitely not inferior to vastly costlier alternatives. I would never buy espresso (which is supposed to be Very finely ground) for a cafetiere. If you do and aren't satisfied with the result, please don't blame the coffee.
Iβve used a stove top espresso maker for years and this is the only coffee that I use. Intense flavour without bitterness, and the perfect grind. A little taste of Italy every morning!
I was buying a locally roasted "artisan" coffee for a year or so that was always freshly roasted and smelled and tasted amazing - but it was 3 x the price of this so I thought I would give Lavazza a go. Definitely noticed the difference with the smell and flavour of lavazza being noticeably less pleasant and strong and also a bit burnt. Having said that for the price I am still awarding 3 stars as its perfectly drinkable.
Just makes the grade for a full-bodied slightly nutty Italian coffee. This is my aeropress staple, good for drinking every day. Five stars at this price.
Been buying Lavazza Rossa for 20 years, but the quality has recently been severely downgraded. Tastes and smells like filth, nothing better than Nescafe...or worse!!!!Now with a burnt, metallic flavour...obviously due to covid/cost of living crisis/brexit costs Italy has decided to dump this Z- grade coffee on us. I won't be buying again
It used to be relatively smooth with a nice caffeine kick, but now tastes burned and has a more acidic and less smooth taste. The scent as well has a kind of foul note...
Been buying this for our stove top pot for over a decade, mainly because its reasonable value. However after buying and only drinking the gold Lavazza when on offer, when we came back to this, we noticed the flavour was quite weak and chemically. Theres a hint of that chicory flavour of cheap ground coffee you can buy in Greece and Spain. Perhaps I ruined it for myself buying the higher quality blend, but ended up throwing the rest of the packet away.
