Wear and tear, the weather and your pet pooch can often play havoc with lawns, changing them from broad sweeps of lush green to what may resemble pock-marked playing fields.

My box of this product contained no couch seed at all. It was 100% rye grass which simply dies off in summer despite watering and fertiliser. This product is a complete con and waste of money. Ill have to totally prepare the ground again and start from scratch.

I sowed this in the empty areas among my existing couch lawn and it is definitely not couch. I now have areas of unlatching grass that grows way quicker than my existing couch. Very annoying!!

I wish I had read the reviews before buying this product. I came back to read them to see if others had the same experience. After watering and tending the seeded area carefully for two months I have a patch of rye grass, with not even a single blade of couch coming up. Now I'll have to buy some actual couch seed and start all over again.
A product labeled as Couch which only on scrutinizing the packet says it is a blend and then only in a faded nearly illegibly writing you find it only contains 38% couch and 62% rye. Don't understand how it can be labeled as Couch
I found that the coverage stated for a new lawn in reality was approx. half the m2 stated on the box. be aware of this if you intend to purchase this brand.
Should be called "Rye/Couch" and not "Couch".If I buy something labelled couch is should be specific to that variety only.Rye grass seems to be what is mainly growing from what was seeded. Now lawn is infested with an unwanted grass variety.
It grows fast within 3-4 days..It does not look like couch grass which suppose to grow horizontal.. instas it’s growing vertical .. height of the grass is about 10cm…
Should be called "Rye Infestation" or "Lawn Killer" and not "Couch". Been wasting time on watering an unwanted grass variety which will now cost more $$ and time to eliminate. Or is it Scotts' intention to now have you buy the Rye killer as well ?
I bought the seed and feed couch in the yellow boxThis seed is unbelievableRecently put a new lawn and sprinkled it on amazing grass on steroidsFor under $30 at Bunnings water it inAnd just takes offWould
