I just love snacking on Lay's Stax Mesquite Barbeque. I think it is tasty, nicely seasoned, non-greasy and the bonus is the packaging. It is convenient to put one in my bag, and I can easily grab it while driving, and once I am done I can easily close the lid. No more messy car, broken chips and i definitely recommend this for anyone. Give it a try :)

I enjoyed these Lays stax chips. Full of flavor. Thicker than a Pringle causing less broken chips at the bottom of the can. Price is worth it. My only complaint is the shape of the container. The oval like shape makes it impossible to reach in the can.

Why on earth would you discontinue this product? I thought it was just me when I couldn’t find it, but it looks like I’m not the only one.it was bad enough when only one type of store in my area sold them but Now you want us to pay $40 from Amazon??You have all these ridiculous other flavors but stopped salt & vinegar?? BRING IT BACK

Best tasting Beat crunch

I love this chip. The flavor is the best of all the salt and vinegar chips I have tried. I have tried Pringles and they taste soggy in comparison. Lays needs to make sure this flavor continues. It’s the absolute best out of all the Stax flavors.

Bring them back!

Only chip my mother regularly eats. When she wasn't able to find them anymore, she started asking me to find them. She doesn't believe me when I say they've been discontinued. "How they discontinue such a good chip?" She says. I have no answers.

Not a substitute for Pringles! Not anywhere close.

BBQ flavor overpowering. Seasoning is powdery and thick applied only to curled center. It's like I'm eating a spoonful of seasoning. There is a noticeable oily flavor or aftertaste. The oil coats the inside of my mouth. Crunchy with few or no broken chips. Plastic container seems like overkill for such a small amount of chips. Overall these chips are not worth the $1.48 and maybe not even 50 cents. I don't like that Walmart automatically substitutes items. The "option" should be that nothing is substituted unless I request it, not the other way around.

STAX Salt and Vinegar are my favorite chip ever

These are hands down the best chips ever made. We have searched all over and can’t find them anywhere. Please start delivering to South Mississippi and Alabama again.

The Greatest Human Tragedy

I personally have loved these chips more than any other, for all my life. These chips are fundamentally perfection. From their shape, and texture, to their fair and even coating of the perfect mix of salt and vinegar makes my mouth water like no other chip could. I would often find myself traveling long distances going from Walmart to Walmart searching for the last tube I could find. And when I struck the mother-load of a fully loaded grail of salt and vinegar godliness. I would often find myself grabbing the cardboard carrier to claim my bounty. These thirst traps in the form a delectable treat deserve’s a second chance. I find it hard to imagine a life without these wonderful chips. I can only beg so much to taste true pleasure again. So please bring these chips back.

Truly the best chips i’ve ever had.

They are extremely flavorful and addictive. I’ve never met someone who didn’t like them unless they can’t handle so much flavor or don’t personally enjoy salt and vinegar chips. These chips were sold out for months at my local Walmart so clearly some people around me enjoy them too. If you buy them and decide that you don’t like them you are more than welcome to send them my way!

aweful, just aweful.

not my thing. i tried these and they were aweful.literally tasted like vomit.my dog, who insists on trying everything tried one. she ran to her water bowl, guzzled down the entire contents. then, she started licking her butt. im guessing to get rid of the taste. i seriously considered doing the same thing to get the taste out of my mouth. its sad when the thought of licking a dogs butt seems like a good alternative to this.
