I have the same helmet in white but wanted a hi vis one for the dark nights. I would have liked this helmet to be just a little larger to fit a beanie hat. I can just about fit one but not much room to tighten the helmet into place. Didn't put me off buying a second one though. Good price from this retailer.

Bright and practical

I bought this in early March 2023 as I felt I needed to wear something brighter and, therefore, safer for cycling. Surprisingly this cycling helmet didn't look to bad on either. I'm only a commuter cyclist going shott distances (occasionally) and I loathe wearing a helmet but I'd rather do that than have an accident and injure myself. The helmet seems well constructed and I'm hoping will help make my commute safer.

Doing the job

Second purchase from Halfords after the previous helmet lasted the distance. Feels well made, fits as expected thanks to the adjustable dial on the back. Chin strap took time to make comfortable but fine now. Light fits securely on top of the helmet but slight grumble that it’s not central to point the way evenly. Nonetheless you’re still visible and the structure offers a firm foundation. So far, so good

Flash in colour and style

Purchased this helmet a few weeks ago. When I decided to start cycling again my son insisted that that a helmet was essential for my safety. I have never been a fan of head wear but as you get older the child parent role reverses so I went along with it and ordered this helmet to keep the peace. My intention was if I liked it I would wear it if not I would abandoned cycling thoughts.I can honestly say cycling is the new love of my life and my helmet is wonderful.It is airy you don’t know you are wearing it and yet the colour makes everyone aware that you are about and I feel so safe. Being a trifle vain bad hair was an issue but rest assured this is absolutely NOT an issue. Go for it you won’t look back.

Get this for your noggin

Comfortable to wear and excellent value for protective gear. The safety light in the back is a cool bonus too. The one tricky thing was figuring out how to adjust the straps to make it fit properly to my head. I spent a long time in front of a mirror trying to get it just right. I'm not sure if this was due to the helmet being a one size fits all or if I'm just inexperienced with bike helmets. This was my first helmet purchase and overall I'm satisfied. Would recommend and repurchase.

Get your lid on

After a recent bike purchase for my wife it was time to buy her a helmet. After much searching we went for the Lazer as we had hired bikes on holiday and used the same one finding it comfortable and adjustable. The small peak was a must to keep the sun or maybe the rain away from the glasses. In short it does the job very well and even better Halfords price matched it to Evans !Thanks guys you were very helpful ;-)

Great helmet good price

Great helmet with a high safety rating

Got this helmet for my friend's birthday, and he said he's been enjoying it! He likes that the helmet is MIPS rated for safety as he likes to bike fast. The helmet is sleek, breathable, and the LED light on the back is just icing on the cake. Hoping it holds up over the years!

Pretty good but……

Fits well especially with the ratchet adjuster the band of which grips my head well. Easy enough to adjust the straps to fit snugly under the chin and sit either side of my ears. However the chin strap seems to adjust itself to get a bit bigger every time I wear it. Also the extra ends of the chin strap hang loose as the retaining band to hold the loose ends slips off them and down to the buckle. Minor issues but annoying all the same. I have no idea what it looks like when I’m wearing it but it lets the air through the vents so might get a bit cool in the winter. Not bad though for the price. I have no idea if it will save my life although it has achieved appropriate safety standards.

Quality helmet

I actually bought this for my four year old after receiving advice from my cycle enthusiast brother and then asking in store about whether it would fit my 4 year old under the chin as I didn’t have him with me at the time. Staff were helpful. My son has a large head though not abnormally so - and a lot of curly hair. Adult medium works well. Always had issues with kids helmets and this looks good and can be adjusted easily to fit under his chin. He loves the bright yellow too.
