Le Creuset makes durable, pretty stoneware. This piece I use for baking Shrimp Au Gratin and my dish comes out of the oven looking pretty as a cooking magazine photo for this recipe.

Have been slowly adding to my LeCreuset cookware collection for several years now. This is a lovely piece to add. Great for casseroles or desserts. Cleans up easily, which I love!

Cerise choice

Lovely to use and excellent quality product, I’m not gloating but I’ve almost turned all my bakeware into Le Creuset’s now.My very first item was purchased in 1986 and still in use in traditional Volcanic orange, my kitchen also has a lot of Cerise theses day and it was the Cerise that I purchased in this Stoneware very easy to clean, it does go a bit against the grain to not put water in after serving but no wait for it to cool, it works a treat.

Keep close eye for cracks

I loved this pan when I first got it and a smaller one “free” from a class I took a couple years ado. I used it more in the last several months now that I am retired. Was so saddened to see a crack in the glaze on top and even more so when I turned the pan over and it went all moths way through. Used only for baking chicken or cinnamon rolls, I can’t imagine how this happened. It was fine, then it wasn’t I had to toss for fear it would pop in the oven next use. Trying to decide whether to order a replacement.

Not oven safe

I used this dish in the oven twice before it broke. When done baking my fish at 375 degrees, I removed the dish from the oven and in doing so some of the juices on the bottom rolled up one side; just a bit. That immediately caused the dish to shatter in my hand from what Le Creuset termed "Thermal Shock". They said thermal shock was not covered by their 10 warranty but as a "one-time courtesy" they would replace it. I'm pleased they agreed to a replacement but question the quality and safety of this product made in china.

Perfect

I had this au gratin dish for years and loved it before it cracked and had to be discarded. I ordered a new one online and it arrived broken already. It was poorly wrapped. It was no surprise that it broke.I turned around and ordered it from Macy’s and it arrived perfectly wrapped and in perfect condition in a very short time, I will remember that in the future when I’m shopping for kitchen goods.

Perfect essential to every kitchen

I now have three sizes: two small 24oz, one medium 1 qt and a large 2 qt and they all have their own functions and look beautiful oven to table. Small ones work great as prepping bowls for dredging breadcrumbs or eggs as well as baking one serving meals. Medium is great to make and serve veggies or gratins. And large is great to serve pastas, roasts, chops or steaks.They stack together easily when not in use. I'm delighted to have a full set and I use them every day! They claim they are ok to broil in but I would only do so once pan is brought up to a med oven temp first.

Replacement dish

I bought this dish to replace a stoneware Le Creuset oval baker I had received as a gift that literally split in half while baking and dumped all the contents into the bottom of my oven. I emailed Le Creuset customer service and asked for help in replacing it, but received no reply. So I eventually took a chance and ordered what I thought would work with the lid I still had. Well, the lid doesn't fit. Too bad no one at Le Creuset offered any help. Sad.

Such a versatile dish

I bought this a while ago, in cerise. Absolutely no regrets. i use it most days and it's a delight. From fish pies, cottage pies to just a serving dish. So easy to clean. Definitely worth buying.

Way smaller than expected

This dish is so small. I genuinely have no idea what you could possibly make in it, even for a single serving. It's tiny but I'll figure out something to do with it. I'll probably use it as a appetizer / olive dish. It would be helpful if SLT posted photos of the product next to the larger size for perspective. Get the larger sizes!
