Purchased this casserole dish just over a year ago- was pleased with its performance. Would use it 1-2 a month. The last use the dish cracked in half while cooking. I have dishes at a fraction of this price point that have performed just as well and lasted much longer. Save your money.

I’ve used this now twice since my purchase: my mom’s Greek Briam and stuffed peppers. Both dishes came out delicious. The construction of this addition is sturdy and the food cooked perfectly. I love it and look forward to trying to wear it out!

We have had an oval casserole for 9 years. It has been fantastic. Last week after I took it out of the oven, I placed the lid in a the sink. The sink was not full but was cooler than the lid. The lid cracked suddenly. I contacted customer service to enquire about purchasing a new lid. After sending photos of the product, they are replacing the whole thing because there is a 10 year warranty. I didn't even have to ask. That is fantastic service that will keep me coming back to Le Creuset.

I knew as soon as I picked up the box the stoneware was broken. I opened it and I could see it was in several pieces. I never removed from the box. The packaging was unsatisfactory, only cardboard. I'm shocked any are delivered intact.
After a longer than usual wait, I was happy to receive the item in time to give as a gift. I was very disappointed that it didn’t come with the signature orange box, or the plastic clips.I will have to make an excuse during the gift exchange. The recipient likes to store her items in the original boxes. Definitely disappointed and now feel the need to ask before I order if it comes with a box.
The handles on the pan are very short making it difficult to bring and put of the oven.It is also hard to grip, and hold from the sides. I dropped the pan as I was removing it from the oven. While the food spilled all over the oven I fortunately was not hurt. I called QVC and they are sending me a label for a refund. Great customer service. The dish looks beautiful in y kitchen but it just did not work for me.
This is a nice baker, however I can confirm what the other reviewer said that this piece did not arrive in the orange Le Creuset box, but packed inside a plain brown cardboard box. It’s not an issue for me, however given it’s the holiday gifting season, and they made a point of displaying the orange box and having David point out how it came in the box. This is a big deal for many who may be gifting, and they should be aware.
I have had this product since Sept 2023.In our home it is my husband & I. This casserole isPerfect for smaller recipes for 2. Also it cleans upbeautifully without having to pre grease . SomeMight consider the price a bit high however it is worth theCost!
I recently received an oval casserole 3.8L and a rectangular casserole 3.8 L as a gift. I put both of them to use and placed them in a 400F preheated oven (instructions are up to 500F). The oval casserole shattered in half while the lid and the rectangular casserole were intact. Made a big mess in the oven.I went to the Toronto Sherway location where it was originally purchased and the store is temporarily closed until further notice. Put in an inquiry through their website and NO contact has been made.Beware of buying certain items as some are made in China and are no longer made in France. Those made in China are horrible quality! Most retailers like the Bay don't carry them anymore, make sense why, and are now on markdowns at Winners/Marshalls/HomeSense
