Great colors! Great value! Bought 3 one for me and two for gifts!. I still love everything about this “Le Creuset” casserole covered dish, but I think it’s a “Le Creuset “ style dish and not a genuine French Le Creuset,. I have a Le Creuset Dutch Oven which has the words “Le Creuset “embossed into the ceramic . But it performs like the? Real Le Creuset. I’m not sure. But don’t let that stop your purchase because it’s a great covered casserole dish.

The item was not what I expected to receive. When I ordered the covered casserole baking dish, the picture appeared to be red. However, the color received was a harsh orange color. I will be returning the item, but I am extremely disappointed that, not only did I receive an undesirable colored dish, now, I must pay to return the baking dish. Very disappointed!!

This stoneware casserole is gorgeous. It arrived very well packaged and in perfect condition. I haven't used it yet, but it promises to be my go-to casserole pan. This is a heavy casserole, so if you have difficulty lifting, this would not be a good choice for folks with arthritis or carpel tunnel issues.Pros: Beautiful finish and presentationCons: Probably too heavy for people with arthritis

Although my favorite color is blue and all of the Le Creuset in my collection up to that point was blue--she gave this casserole to me in orange. My guess is that she picked it up at the Le Creuset outlet store. It is fine. I wouldn't have chosen orange but the color certainly doesn't affect its performance. This covered casserole dish and lid are enameled which makes for easy cleaning by hand or in the dishwasher. You also don't have to worry about the handle on the top because it is also enameled cast iron and not rubber like you find on the company's French ovens. I don't use this covered casserole as often as I should or as I used to for 2 reasons: 1) I am usually only cooking for 1 so I don't need such a large dish and 2) it winds up down at the bottom of the cabinet buried underneath all sorts of other things I can use instead. Still it is a great addition to my collection and something that people cooking regularly for a family or who regularly entertain will find very useful. I highly recommend it.
I love my new rectangular casserole! I use it when I make sheppards pie and baked pasta. Light enough to put in the fridge for left overs, I just use a wrap then put the lid on - plus very easy to clean! Only thing I don’t like much about it is the bottom finish is rough unlike the cast iron roaster, perhaps it the material!
It’s great, a good size and easy to clean. Very happy with it. I really wanted a rectangular shape and this was exactly what I wanted. Only thing I would change is I would have preferred more choices of colour (e.g. ink blue), but it still looks good.
We own the rectangle baker and now the square baker - we love both! Very happy we invested in the square baker which we now find we use almost weekly. We find it's the perfect size for keeping grilled meats warm from the grill to the serving table. We got the artichoke color and it's stunning. Very much recommend this piece.
I was so excited about this Casserole Dish. I love the color and the quality of the dish is outstanding! I was disappointed when I put the lid on before serving the meal…. It did not fit! It was wobbly and no matter what I tried, it would not fit properly. Such a disappointment.
Worth the investment, best lasagne and meatloaf in this. Its so nice to have a casserole dish/ baking dish with cover. I really dislike the idea of using tin foil so this is great as it traps in moisture and heat for even cooking. I would say this is in my top 5 of Le Creuset items you should own.
