I ordered this in red and its a beautiful vibrant color. I bought it to replace my stainless steel chili pot. Heats evenly and cooks my chili and other soups perfectly. I also bought the matching Individual cast iron serving bowls, which are perfect for french onion soup or individual pot pies, etc. Very happy with my purchase. Also, the pot cleans up so easy. No baked on food stuck to the bottom requiring a Brillo pad and elbow grease. Very easy to clean.

I love this pot! I got the 6qt. I can double many recipes or not worry about spillage. It could even fit a whole chicken. It’s a nice size, but not overly large to store. I like how it’s so easy to clean and I don’t really have to deal with staining like enameled cast iron. It’s so light weight also. If needing a pot for something like canning, I would look at the dimensions for 8qt or larger. This one is perfect for cooking stock pot recipes such as soups, stews, chili, etc.

So much to say about how much I love this pot. I own the 5 quart Dutch oven but it just wasn't big enough to use for making pasta sauce. The thing I like most about the stock pot is that it's the same quality as the Dutch oven inside but not heavy as heavy. My sauce cooked evenly and none burned to the bottom like cheaper stock pots. The 8 quart was the right size too. I know they say that 1 quart is equal to one serving but this pot held a lot of ingredients - 15 tomatoes, 3 bell peppers, 3 zucchinis, 2 onions, 3 jars sauce and 2 lbs of meat - just to give you an idea of the size (not recipe :). Wish I could afford an entire pantry of Le Creuset but will settle for once in a while.

Ordered a blue pot, came jn a box that shows it is orange. Worries I opened the box, it was blue afterall. Any time a different box is used like this, is at the outlets?!? Then the stick on bottom of pot does not come off easy. I had to soak, then use goo be gone to get it off!?! Last there is this hideous sticker across my expensive pot?!? LeCreuset is not stamped on the pot, nope just a cheesy cheap sticker. If I wouldn't have gotten a sale price and used a reward certificate, I would have returned it for sure! UghLost me as a customer for sure Williams Sonoma,Shame on you!
I’m slowly collecting Le Creuset pieces and I’m up to around 8 or so. I bought this stockpot but immediately regretted it as soon as I opened the box. It feels super cheap in person and mine arrived with scratches already on the inside lid. Definitely not worth the money like other items from this brand.
This pot is 6 months old, and while using it recently I found rust water leaking onto my stove top. There’s a hole in the handle. I filed a claim with le cresuet and they accepted the return, though they don’t do free returns so I was on the hook $40+ for shipping. No guarantee that I’ll get the same color in return. So this pot ultimately cost me $150+. Buyer beware. Will not buy LC enamel pots ever again, as my first one chipped on the handles and on the interior as well.
I wanted to love it, but unfortunately it arrived with some dings. I still tried to push through and it’s so thin, it scorched my ricotta. I used it on the lowest setting so I’m surprised it did that. Then, when I went to wash it, it hardly fit in the sink. We have a double bay deep sink and it took up the entire bay, so that’s also a negative for me. It went back :(
I finally got it, but one of the four pots was with a factory defect, there were problems both inside and outside. Before sending it to the warehouse, they don't look, the box was without squabbles and damage, but inside there is a pot with a huge defect. I contacted support, and they told me that the problematic one should be returned, then get a new one. But I ordered to another country, forwarders delivered, so it will be much cheaper to send back a pot with a defect than the pot itself costs. It is a pity that the store does not value its customers.
I have a big family who loves my meatballs. I cook them right in the sauce. Loved the size of this stock pot as it will hold at least 3 dozen meatballs. If I make more, I use my cast iron enameled pots. Leaving both on the stove to simmer, time after time, the sauce burns on the bottom of this pot. If you stir it you effect the taste of the sauce. As the name implies, use it only for stock. As it's only good for stock, I question if it's worth taking up so much room in my cupboard. Cleaning was very difficult. Soaked with cold water, soaked with water and baking soda on the stove and used Bar Keepers. It took quite a few tries to get the burn off.
The perfect size for stock and soup. It is very sturdy. Cleans up really well. A beautiful piece of cooking equipment. It is what you would expect for Le Creuset. I am never disappointed with their products.
