Love the design and feel of this stainless steel kettle. Good whistle and easy to pour. Need to wait to cool before refilling and remember to put on a heat resistant trivet when taking off the hob.Only downside was, that when filled to maximum capacity, it took 7 minutes to boil on our gas ring. It might be much quicker perhaps on a halogen hob? No chance of forgetting it though, because the cheery whistle reminds you to take it off the heat.Will be brilliant though, when we need a cup of tea in one of the many power cuts we experience and looks fantastic on our range cooker in the meantime.

This kettle feels amazing when you use it and looks fabulous. However, unless you leave it to boil for at least 30 seconds once it starts to whistle, your hot drinks will look scummy and a little frothy. Also the lid is a bit of a struggle to put back on as its a really tight fit.

I bought this to replace my existing Le Creuset cast iron Kone kettle. I've had more than one of the cast iron Kones and they all went rusty after quite a short time. This model is more expensive but is perfect to use on my induction hob. I live in a hard water area so I need to regularly descale it but that is easy to do. I have every hope that it will keep its good looks for much longer than the cast iron versions I have owned previously.

With rising fuel costs we were keen to move from an electric kettle to one using gas - electric melted being turned on and never used. The new gas job kettle is perfect - it whistles to be used. We wanted something robust and despite the high price we have been extremely happy with our choice

It's hard to find a decent hob kettle so this was definitely the best we could find. It's attractive and stays very shiny. Slightly industrial styling for our taste but works well on our induction hob. Lid is very tight fitting which is good but can be challenging if you don't have strong hands! Water can squirt out if the kettle is overfilled so you need to be careful.
Good looking kettle that makes a tasty brew. As gas is presently cheaper than electric this will help our energy bill. Just fill enough for each cuppa and it will soon make a difference.It is a little expensive but we used our JL vouchers. Eco and stylish ... can't fault it so far.
I'm loving my Le Creuset Kone kettle. It works perfectly on my induction job but is amazing on top of my little wood burner. It boils really quickly on there and the whistle feature is great. Saves electricity all day as I just keep the kettle on ready to go. Highly recommended.
Bought to use on my aga and very pleased. Good solid flat base for efficient conduction of heat and a nice loud whistle meaning it isn't likely to be forgotten about and allowed to boil dry. The whistle flips up easily and safely for pouring. Nothing not to like really!
