Great piece. Beautiful colour. The only thing I’d change is a finger loop at the top since the top top weighs so much. Harder to pick up with small hands. Otherwise would definitely buy again.

The latest butter dish was a gift to friends who liked the butter dish that holds a butter stick but disliked the size of it. They love this one ! It holds a full-sized package of butter so they no longer have to worry about cutting the butter down to the correct size. They no longer have to refill the butter dish so frequently. This butter dish is perfect and they love the colour (oyster).

If you make/buy European styled cultured vegan butter, this is a perfect way to store it in the refrigerator. And it looks great on the table for casual and formal entertaining. We'll treasure this beauty for a lifetime!
I finally found a butter dish that will hold the brick type butter.We buy Kerrygold butter and it comes in a brick shaped and not like other butter where each stick is individually wrapped and you’ve got 4 of them in a package.So finding a butter holder that we didn’t have to cut the butter in half because it wouldn’t fit or wasn’t wide enough has now come to an end.This is very wide. We love it!
Who ever thought there would be western, eastern, American and who knows what other sizes of butter and that apparently all the manufactures of butter dishes were out east or something. Finally a butter dish that can fit a whole 1lb “western” size butter block!!! The only one I have been able to find on the market. For anyone who complained about it being too big, there are thousands of other butter dishes to fit smaller portions of butter to buy.Comes in nice colours. I find the lid easy to use even without a handle and the nice sturdy base doesn’t slide around on the counter when I got to scrape butter with one hand.

I ordered the sage LeCreuset butter dish and it is beautiful! It is the perfect size for 1-lb Canadian butter. I bought it for my sister and I plan to buy one for myself. I qualified for same-day shipping and received my items the next day which was great.
My boyfriend asked for a Le Creuset French Oven at Christmas time. He said it was the ultimate cooking dish to be able to make some fabulous creations. I bought him that and also ordered the Pet Set for our cat, Mr. Martin. It was all in Blueberry, so when I saw the Blueberry Butter Dish, I envisioned how great it would look, compared the the regular plate that he was keeping his butter on! I was right, it looks fabulous and the quality is out of this world. It is big enough for a pound of butter with no sides scraping so no mess. Love it
I use this to store butter at room temperature for short term use. The lid of the dish is a bit heavier than I anticipated and is better removed and placed aside with two hands. I do not use butter as often as I used to, but I like to keep a little out if the need for it arises. That said, dish is attractive with a pure white color that would fit in almost any kitchen, I would imagine. Also, there is plenty of space for two Eastern or Western US butter sticks side-by-side, or one of the "European" or cultured style blocks. Buy it if you do not mind a clunky lid
