I'm sure other makes of pan would also benefit from this fine example of pan lid craftsmanship.Once atop the pan, steam and food spatters are contained - meaning that the contents of your pan will heat up more quickly whilst limiting mess on your hob, worktop and splash-back!The handle is cleverly positioned right in the middle of the lid to make balanced lifting of the lid a cinch.But the lid really comes into its own in the dishwasher - it comes out sparkling clean and ready for duty every time.The Holy Grail of pan lids. Highly recommended.

Received a Genuine Le Creuset Lid for the cast iron frypan. Works as expected even when I purchased the pan separately. Just remember to measure your pan or check the box it came in, because the sizes are different between cookware brands.

I didn’t buy this at the time of the pan itself but I found I use the pan so much, the lid would be useful and it is! Do everything now like dumplings, fish, eggs and other where the lid is so useful.
Why waste time cleaning up the mess from cooking splatters when you can just cover up your sizzling stir fry or bubbling casserole? Look no further than this must have addition to your Le Creuset pots or pans!I cannot live without this lid- it is sturdy and has a handle which does not heat up when the cooking reaches high temperatures. Best of all, my cleaning up is kept to a minimum!
We are using this on Le Creuset 28cm cast iron skillet. Perfect fit. Lightweight but can handle 425 degrees, per box Info. BBY ad says 325,,,,Highly recommend but make sure your LC skillet or Dutch oven is “28cm”. Can’t claim this will work on other brands but very good value for money on 28cm LC.
I bought the Le Creuset non-stick deep frying pan from JL a few years ago and this rapidly became my go-to cooking utensil especially for 'one pot' meals. Now having bought the matching glass lid, I can't imagine using any other pan. I highly recommend buying both of these items.
Good quality and fit my frying pans perfectly . Not the easiest to store but that is a minor problem to solve. Come in very handy when cooking

I am sure my Le Creuset sauce pan came without a lid and I managed for years with one that seemed to fit. It began to chip badly so I had to do something. The matching lid is just great - I should have bought it years ago!!! Great fit and metal rim so hopefully no chipping.
