This is a really nice good quality pan as you would expect from La Creuset. A pan that would last a lifetime. It is solid and a good size to cook casseroles, soups, etc for a family of three. The look it's sleeker and more modern than the more classic range offered by this brand, so it depends on what you are looking for. If you want a retro look in more funky colours, go for the classic range. But I would say the quality of this more modern looking saucepan is probably as good.

The pot is great! Very thick and the depth is also good - useful for all sorts of cooking that isn't a whole joint/chicken.The food tastes good I guess because of the even cooking experience in there. So useful to have a stove pot that transfers to the oven without a handle to negotiate as well.It cleans very well, and the nonstick properties are great too. Only positive things to say about this one.

The plan also looks good aesthetically.Cons: The steel side handles get extremely hot to touch and will burn you.When I questioned the company about this they asked Le Creuset and the reply was, "they have advised that this is not a fault and that the handles will get hot due to the material they are made from.". For me, this would have put me off buying the pan even though it's really good in the ways above. I've only ever had pan handles heat up like this in cheapo plans, not ones that are expensive.

I received this product just before lockdown and this pan has been a life saviour it's been a pan which has cooked everything from scrambled eggs to beef bourguignon! Yes it is expensive but if it's anything like my old Le Creuset pans it will be handed down to my children In fifty years!! The pan itself cooks evenly, the heat distributes well on our gas hob, I'm assuming this is because of the Build quality it has a good weight behind it. The handles are a good size for my husbands large hands when draining food or for washing up!! I have used this pan everyday during lockdown and it still looks brand new as the saying goes you get what you pay for in both quality and looks! Typically brilliant Le Creuset pan. I bought it to replace a cast iron Le Creuset casserole dish and couldn’t be happier with it. Lighter, non-stick and a glass lid. What’s not to love.
This casserole dish is the perfect size for two. You can use it on the hob, in the oven and to serve at the table.We made a soup on the hob, the handles somehow keep fairly cool while using on the hob. So if you forget to put your oven gloves on it doesn't matter. Took straight to the table as the casserole dish looks good.Due to the non-stick coating it was very easy to wash up too. Would definitely recommend and thinking about getting another in the range.
This is my first Le Creuset cooking pan and it won't be my last - this casserole pan is a really useful size and perfect with the two side handles for easy of lifting - giving the option to cook on the hob (perfect only my new induction oven) and then put into the oven. The non-stick is amazing, it cleaned without any effort on my part at all. I was concerned about the weight before it arrived but it is so much lighter than any of the cast iron range, making it a much more user friendly item in my view. I can see that I will be eyeing up the rest of the range to update my old saucepan collection.
I have the smaller version of this Deep Casserole and that is excellent for slow cooking in the oven. I purchased this to do larger quantities and expect the same level of quality.
This casserole dish is sturdy, easy to clean and is of sufficient size to prepare a casserole for 4 to 6 people. See the images attached which show the ingredients before cooking and after cooking. The weight of beef used in this case was 600g. It can be seen that there is sufficient space to include additional ingredients for an even larger group of diners - say 8 or 9. The instructions for use were clear and helpful.
