very comfortable. Most comfortable boot ive worn yet. Had Alpine Stars and old school Oneal boots before. GREAT! fitting boots. They are true to size, with a little bit of room in the toe box. I think they are the best fitting boots ive had. Great foot feel on the pegs, inspires confidence when riding and gives great feedback. The inner panels grip the bike very well and give you excellent positive feel for the bike. I will definitely buy these again.

Have been riding Dirt bikes for 35 years and have worn all brands. My go to PPE is normally the Alpinestars tech 10’s as well as the tech 7’s but with the Off-road, MX, XC and Hard Enduro I ride this is absolutely the best boot. The tech tens and tech sevens are great boots but with sudden changes in the harsh terrain such as dry rocky, wet slick climbs and down hill obstacles these boots keep you planted and provide excellent grip when pushing the bike, hanging off the pegs or when the soles are wet. Something Alpinestars have yet to accomplish with a shoes like sole. I love my tech tens and sevens but for a well rounded everyday any terrain boot these are my go to now.

I bought these last year as they had good reviews at a great price point. For all intents it has been a great boot until this last ride where I caught a rock in the desert which didn't even dislodge my foot from the leg. It twisted the front toe box just enough to tear my little toe nail off and break my middle toe behind the knuckle. Out for a few weeks is all but I am on the hunt for a better boot at this point.I will say the boot is very comfortable out of the box. Buckles have been ok but have needed some Lube after sandy muddy wet rides. I love the slide Velcro, it really makes the boot fit well and not bunch when latching the top buckle.I'm 48 and have ridden my whole life. Raced a little in C class desert enduros. Not as tough as i would like. The good- they offer good protection and i like the feel on the shifter and brake. Are adjustable to how much give they have. Comfortable boot. Buckles are aluminum not plasticThe bad- the stitching and material came apart in the tongue area pretty quickly. Sole is ripping. 40-50 hrs. Buckles dont stay buckled very well. The feel on the pegs and controls could possibly convince me to buy again
Solid and comfortable boot at a much better price than the flagship models of others. Tried on a lot of other options and really felt this was the best combination of quality and price. Boots in general seem to run large so size down if you are in between. The buckles secure the boot well but are not the quickest I have used. Other than that not really any complaints. The sole is strong and fits well on the pegs. I ride more on the balls than the arch so it may not work as well for others.
As good a quality as my Alpine tech 7s with enduro sole and hard to beat value. The one way velcro closure on the calf area is amazing as it slides to allow the buckles to close the opening without the velcro sticking, great feature. Ive had really good luck with everything Leatt and these boots ere no exception. The only other boot Id consider is the Gearne fast back.
Very comfortable boot right out of the box. Excellent fit. I have problems with heel slip in my AStars Tech 7's. (along with everyone else in the world) These have a good amount of shape to hold my heel in place. Not too tight, but enough hold so i don't feel like they'll slip right off when I take a spill. Super squeaky walking around but not like you're going to hear it on a ride. Definitely not a lightweight boot; size 11 came in at 4.8 lbs for one boot on my bathroom scale, compared to 4.4 lbs for an old Tech 7. Not a deal breaker, just a reference point. The one-way velcro cuff is going to be total personal preference - I keep the top of my boots super loose for maximum mobility on tight technical stuff so it's just kind of meh to me, but if you like your boots ... MoreVery comfortable boot right out of the box. Five star fit and features, 3 star weight so I split the diff at 4 stars.
Expected more manufacturing quality from the top of the range product. Leatt still has the way to go to compete premium brands in terms of this. Otherwise the boots are OK, quite tight though. But - plastic shell saved my legs from injuries several times - which is great! Used these so far for 5 full day enduro rides. Hopefully they soften a little over time. Good price was the decision maker for me. !these are not for the wide footed.
I recently purchased the Leatt 5.5 Enduro boots for mainly trail riding and MX laps. I don?t plan to to ride competitively but I plan to have a blast! I?m a former football player so...big EEE wide, flat, feet, bigger calf?s and bad ankles. The fit is perfect! I expected to need a 14 based on width but I can actually ware a 13 and it is a perfect fit. The calf is tight but I can close the top buckle and It will most likely stretch a little over time. They we?re a little stiff in the beginning but are beginning to break in. I can?t speak to the durability just yet but I love them at the present moment.
Leatt is among leaders in off road rider protection gear. These boots are no exception for superior safety of the lower leg. Bit stiff out of box but are comfortable right away. I like the larger toe box and heel is secure riding and walking. Not quite the stiffness of Alpinestar Tech 10 but more than the Tech 7 - ideal as enduro or BDR boot. Easy enough flex for walking around but all depends on what you want from a boot in your riding environment. Spend the money, great value for the quality, testing and science that good into the 5.5's. Highly recommended!
