Adjustability makes the difference! Fits perfectly with my Leatt chest protector. Wore it on the first race a week ago and couldn't be happier.
I bought the Leatt 5.5 neck brace with the intentions that it would be a fit with my new Leatt 5.5 chest protector. The straps designed to keep the neck brace in place do not work. It's either a design flaw with the chest protector or neck brace.
This is a really nice neck brace that is very adjustable to make it fit right. I have a big CE rated chest protector and this works perfectly with it.
I bought this on Moosejaw at a sale price they were running and couldn't be happier with the purchase. I have this 5.5 neck brace to match with my Leatt 6.5 chest protector and the two fit together perfectly. Leatt gear is top-notch stuff and the price I paid at Moosejaw made the purchase even more doable.

Takes a few minutes of instructional manual reading to get the fitment settings correct, but priceless piece to protect your spine. I fit mine over a leather jacket with full shoulder/elbow armor AND a chest/back armor vest. Use the optional included side straps to secure it, otherwise IMO there is too much play and it won’t sit still. Fitting the neck brace produces a very satisfying CLICK. My Shoei RF-1200 fits just fine as the next piece. Follow the instructions to a T or you will mitigate the protection properties!Aesthetically, it does look a little strange with all my gear on, but what’s the cost of safety? But that’s not frequent or consistent. I think helmet shape might be a variable in fitment on rare occasions.Would buy again and highly recommend.
