This is the first pair of Lebron’s that I have ever got and they look great in hand. Despite this pair having a Laker’s theme it’s not too overpowering and I like that there is more black than purple.As far as fit goes I would recommend going up half a size or even a full size up. I went true to size and found those shoes to be very snug.The midsole foam is very comfortable and the collar area is heavily padded which gives you a nice and secure fit.The shoe has some nice design features such as the quilted purple material mainly on the tongue and part of the side. The Lebron witness 8 definitely looks the best compared to the models beforehand. It has a comparable feel to the Ja 1s. Except the Lebron’s are more of a mid so they have better ankle support for your ankles, but not high enough to lose mobility. The lacing system reflects that last statement as well. Slightly smaller than last years model of the Lebron witness. But is quite comfortable and cushioned. These are definitely a good shoe to play basketball in. Traction is good, not great, but it gets the job done. For some reason I’ve noticed that all the nike basketball shoes I’ve gotten have fit slightly smaller than previous years. I have been wearing thinner socks because of this issue.

The Witness 8 is a good pair of basketball shoes especially for the price. Nothing too fancy when it comes to the technology used and the comfort is fine. The materials aren’t too stiff but the materials need some break in time. The feeling of the material feels cheap but as I played a couple games it started to break in well. Fit is a little snug but with some time the materials will expand and the fit gets better. The traction worked well with average bite on lateral stops. Overall, it’s a good shoe for the price.

I'm really enjoying these sneakers. Nike did they thing with the design and the materials used. Despite being mid tops the sneaker feels very lightweight. The toe box feels like a reinforced or very durable mesh or nylon. So your toes can breathe and don't feel too squeezed together. However, I will still say maybe think about going a half a size up. Right out the box the sneakers feel pretty narrow. Maybe they'll break in after more use. But if you like more room or maybe have a wider foot, I'd recommend going up half a size. The shoe feels good I enjoyed playing basketball at my local gym in them. They fit of the sneaker is snug so I recommend a half size up. The design is really cool it has great functionality and a few Easter eggs like the crown on midsole and the lovely message on the back heels was a great touch. The materials are durable and the quilted part at the front give it the shoe a luxury feel. What I enjoyed most was the shoe gave me a 2018 Nike Kobe AD vibe and the mesh with the lion pictured in it looked amazing. What I would change is the cushioning. The two sneakers in the lebron witness line I have feature full length cushion it was noticeable. Bring it back please!
These LeBrons are a great Nike basketball shoe & come with what I've come to expect with Nike basketball shoes. The style/design is there, the support is there, the court grip is there -- all for an exceptional price point. With a history of poor ankles, my specific needs are not that of the crowd's. I always where ankle braces on both ankles - so the shoe was a little thin for the extra brace space. With my ankles in mind as well, I typically find myself looking at high tops rather mids. However, even with my idiosyncratic issues - I still found this shoe extremely valuable for what it delivers. Nothing will be made specifically for me, but this covers a lot of the aspects that I value when looking for new basketball shoes!
I would say this shoe feels too tight in general, it does provide good ankle support but it feels too snug around the foot arch.It does run a bit small so I would suggest sizing up for a better dit, maybe that would help with the shoe not feeling as tight around the foot. Overall felt a bit uncomfortable but maybe it would be different with a bigger size and more wear.On the plus side I really liked the color, the combination looks cool and different than other basketball shoes. It has a tiger design in contrasting color behind the main mesh-like fabric layer which adds another cool element.
Purchased for my 12 year old for basketball. Having just finished baseball (Spring season, LL All Star Tournament, Fall Ball) a break before his travel season and the expenses was one I was excited for. He of course was set on interested in these pair, I brushed it off to the “labels/ brand” but also couldn’t resist his enthusiasm. He has practice or games 4 days a week and they’ve been amazing. He loves the way they feel, he’s able to move on the court with ease and afterwards he doesn’t immediately take them off and put on his crocs like so the baseball. I didn’t plan to spend $100 on 7th grade basketball shoes, but I’m glad I did, he’s prone to getting athletes foot as well and he hasn’t had any issue or itch since we’ve bought these.
