I like that the very first thing it had me do was generate a 24-word seed phrase and it even comes with forms to record the phrase and store in a secure location like a safe. You can recover your crypto assets using this seed phrase, even if the hardware wallet itself gets lost! I was able to export all of my ETH from my Coinbase account to the address I generated in Ledger Live. I only own ETH and BTC, but I like that Ledger has support for over a thousand different crypto currencies. I really like how all transactions are authenticated with a PIN and physical buttons on the wallet. Overall, I think the Ledger Nano X provides a very secure place for me to store my crypto assets and along with the Ledger Live app, strikes a great balance between high security and easy convenience. I really like the peace of mind that comes with knowing that only I now have procession of the private keys for my assets.

Adequate, once you can figure out how to set it up

I am not a very tech savvy person and found this device to be very difficult and frustrating to setup. There is an online tutorial in the Ledger Live App that is a required download to run this device, and while the tutorial was a bit helpful, it was not entirely thorough in my opinion, and left me to figure out some things on my own.**Also** like many other other commenters remarked about, I too was unable to get the battery to charge. Out of frustration, I tweaked the charging cable once inserted into the device in hopes of getting the connections to make a better contact, and only then did it finally begin to charge.After a few days in, everything seems to be working okay.

Ledger nano x is a great buy. Store and hold your cryptocurrency. Nano x has Bluetooth connectivity or connection through pc with the suplied usb connection. Download the app and the rest is self explanatory to your keeping your passcode and keys private.Its an easy set up but be sure to use the official Ledger website to download the Ledger live app. Dont just Google search the website, theres to many phishing sites Type the official Ledger website yourself.

Not as great as I expected

Look at other unbiased reviews... i.e trust pilot... Ledger obviously pays a lot for people to include them in their lists - making them sound very trustworthy but they're not. I wish I'd never bought it. App on laptop NOT working. So you are forced to use mobile app... But for me that defeated the purpose of keeping everything as secure as possible. I may as well use a mobile wallet. Bad company. And despite bad reviews about this, they do nothing. How can a company that says it's secure not even create and maintain a functioning windows app??? Makes no sense. After SO many negative reviews from people you'd think they'd want to fix this but so many false "Ledger is most secure" fake reviews/ads by paid promotors, they don't care. SHIBA and ADA difficulty

Albeit a secure USB key, the Nano S doesn't have much space.Surely in a world where we can have 1Tb on a micro SD card which is over 20 times smaller than the Ledger Nano S, you'd think you'd get at least 500Kb space available. I understand safety and interface are taking a big chunk of the space but I'm only demanding to have 0.00004% of the storage of a 1Tb micro SD on a device, Nano Ledger S, which is over 20 times bigger. I went back on the Ledger website to give the exact storage capacity (between 100Kb and 200Kb) but unsurprisingly it isn't written down. So far so Bad

Problems right out of the box. First thing is to charge it, I did, but as soon as it’s disconnected from power source it’s dies and won’t turn back on. So I check online and find it’s a know problem with the firmware and the battery so it needs a firmware update but apparently you have to go through setup on the device first so plugged it back in to go through initial setup. After confirming your pin code, you get to the point where it tells you it will generate your 24 word recovery phrase but no matter which combination of buttons you press, and you should only have to press the right button to get your first word, it won’t even move on to give you one word let alone 24. It may be a great device but it’s a huge fail out of the box when you have to spend so much ... MoreProblems right out of the box. For some reason, a lot of people are rather dissatisfied with the devices - for various reasons. I personally use the device to just 'hold' what value I have in whatever digital currency I have presently, and I do not plan on cashing out until I believe it is needed - could be a few years from now.
