I've been cooking with oyster sauce since college and this brand is the cheapest and easiest to find. We always have a bottle in our kitchen and get them from Walmart. I like using this as a flavor and sauce for Bok Choy, Stir Fry, and Choy Sum. It's not that bad if you use it in moderation, it can be very salty so don't over pour. Its great to have for any Asian dish you want to whip up.

I just love the flavor of pork ribs with Oyster Flavor Sauce. Quick recipe, 1/2 pound pork ribs, 2 scallions, 3 star anise, one beer, 1/2 9-ounce jar Oyster Favor Sauce, 3-inch piece of fresh ginger. Let it boil until all the juice is consumed, add a tablespoon of ground red chili if you like spicy food. Serve with white rice. I love it, highly recommended.

Great for stir-fry

Basically, I hate everything clam or oyster. But with that said, it is great in my stir-frys.

NOT oyster sauce

This is NOT oyster sauce as described. It is oyster FLAVORED sauce. Not the real thing. So disappointed!

Oyster sauce

It is one of the 1st choice brand for Hong Kong n Mainland Chinese people though it is comparatively more expensive than China made oyster sauce. Its quality is much more reliable.

Very nice for to add as seasoning or flavouring as well. Definitely will buy it again. Recommended!

Very tasty I use it as a dipping sauce

My only complaint is I wish there were larger sizes! I buy several bottles when running low, can’t do without oyster sauce! Very tasty would recommend to even non adventurous people, it’s very non offensive but still tasty, but be careful as it is salty so not too much if you are on low salt dietary restriction.

Way too salty

I used a whole bottle on my stir fry because I wanted a thick and lot of sauce on my beef and broccoli, but when I tasted it was not edible because of the salt, I had to drain the sauce and rinse my beef and broccoli in order to save my food, why add so much salt to a sauce???? If you can always add salt when cooking!!!!

Would recommend

I like puttin it in most of the asian dishes I make, inhances the flavor.Would recomend if you like anything stir fry. I use it in stir fry noodles, chicken broccoli and man it taste like from restaurants.

Oyster sauce is wonderful for stir fry and home made Ramen and all kinds of other Japanese and Chinese dishes, it adds a wonderful rounded taste to them, almost like a secret spice, to any dish.
