I have several pairs of these cargo shorts in different colors and wear them every day. They are very comfortable and never bind. The fabric moves with you so well that you hardly notice you have them on. The color hold up well to washing and come out of the dryer ready to wear. The pockets are secure so I don't worry about losing stuff. I wish the front pockets were a little deeper but that's really nitpicking on my part. These shorts are great.

The only thing I dislike about these shorts is that they run about a size and half small. But that was in the sizes over 50. Shorts from the Army days, were cut off BDU's that was made from Rip Stop material. As they got more worn they wore better. The shorts are the perfect feel new. The stretch, have plenty of room in the straddle and legs. When most material rides up when sitting , these just sink right in for a perfect fit. I wear a 50, I ordered a 52. They fit, but were tight in all places. 54 was order and they do not sack a bit. Just a great pair of dunderee shorts. i don't think yo could go wrong with these. For the price they were also outstanding. And they are Lee brand. Which Lee and Wrangle run small to snug anyhow.

These shorts are what I've been looking for. The fabric is a perfect blend so they are comfortable, strong, stretchy and don't wrinkle excessively. I don't like wearing belts, so these are just what I wanted with the stretch waistband. Kudos to the design team, coz I am picky about clothes and how they fit me. After the first pair; I ordered two more...nice work.

I love these shorts. I bought a par (camo) years ago and they are my go-to shorts for round the house, every day, or working in the yard. They stretch with me no matter what I am doing. That means that they stay comfortable ALL the time! So I finally decided to get more of them so I can use them to go out to other outdoor party or BBQ. Look great, Very easy care, Great shorts.
These are a direct replacement for a similar pair I bought 5 years ago. This by far my favorite pair of shorts. I have shorts for from several other makers (RL, UB, IZ... Etc) These quickly became my default "go to" shorts. I love the ample cell phone pocket, and the elastic cargo pocket pulls.
I ordered size 42, 7 different patterns. Every pattern fits different... Shrank a good 3/4 in the legs. Spandex ??? They have no stretch what so ever in the shorts only in the waist.. Unless I read wrong it states stretchy I guess they meant only in the waist.. Relaxing ... You sit down and they ride straight up into your crotch.. I been wearing 42 forever and my weight has not changed... They are making these smaller .. If you want a relaxing fit you better go a size up because they do shrink!!
I'm very disappointed with the Extreme Motion Crossroad shorts; I bought these in place of the Performance Cargo shorts as they seem to be discontinued in regular sizes. A complete disaster; first, they shrunk in the wash, not be a lot but noticeable; second, after first wash, shorts were very wrinkly out of wash as well as with normal wear, and tough to iron to boot. Third, the shorts were not as comfortable after first wash. Now, I did wash these as per instructions, but comparatively to the Performance shorts, these are cheap, and not easy to care for or travel with. Will not buy again and can not recommend. Please bring back the performance shorts in wrinkle free and easy to care for shorts!
I am going to lump the 3 pair of shorts together for this review. Each of the three hit the mark on intended use. The Carhart's have features that facilitate actual working environments with a relaxed fit followed by slanted cargo pockets with multiple pockets on the left side and a pencil slot incorporated in the pocket on the right side. There are also additional stitching and other "heavy duty" elements employed that Carhart is famous for. Next the Dickies. These shorts are noticeably in the "business casual" category reflecting closer fit, pockets on the rear without flaps, sleeker material with subdued diamond pattern stitching, and an overall reserved character. Lastly, the Lee Shorts. Again, a pair of shorts that fall clearly in the "as advertised" category. ... MoreI am going to lump the 3 pair of shorts together for this review. These are nice shorts. I like the material as it is not 98% cotton. They are just a tad too long (10.5") for me but not bad. I really like the waist band as it is wide, sturdy and holds it's shape. It will not roll over your belt like a lot of shorts/pants. Not sure I care of the velcro and flaps on the rear pockets but again it's okay. The rear pockets could be a little deeper. I will very likely buy another pair.
Per Lee's website:Color Woodland Camo (2187026) FABRIC 73% Cotton/24% Nylon/3% Spandex_10.5" inseamIn my experience, with these shorts and with other clothing of similar material, there's much less chance of shrinkage than with clothing having a much higher percentage of cotton, such as the very similar Carolina Cargo Extreme Motion line.Worth noting the Woodland Camo has more of a gray base color, and looks a bit more sun-faded, than the Combat Camo, which has more of an olive drab base color, and has a much less faded appearance. There are other color schemes available on the Lee website. It would be great if Blaine's would stock those as well: Black Camo, Mountain Lion Camo, and Army top that list, in my opinion. Will add that the cell phone pocket is ... MorePer Lee's website:Color Woodland Camo (2187026) FABRIC 73% Cotton/24% Nylon/3% Spandex_10.5" inseamIn my experience, with these shorts and with other clothing of similar material, there's much less chance of shrinkage than with clothing having a much higher percentage of cotton, such as the very similar Carolina Cargo Extreme Motion line.Worth noting the Woodland Camo has more of a gray base color, and looks a bit more sun-faded, than the Combat Camo, which has more of an olive drab base color, and has a much less faded appearance. There are other color schemes available on the Lee website. That feature alone has made these shorts my regular go-to.The pull-loops on the outside flap of both cargo pockets works quite well to easily yank open the pocket for access, something i'd never considered until working while wearing these shorts, and needing pocket access while also having my hands gunked up and not really in a position to fiddle with a velcro'd flap. Finger in pull, and pull. May seem trivial, but it is highly functional. Haven't yet caught that small loop on something, at which point would probably have typed out a different review. ; )Are there some minor tweaks i'd make to the Lee shorts line? Yes, but they're probably based on my own physiology, haha.
