I find womens shorts too short and snug. These mens shorts are strong and well made. There is room in the legs. They have multiple secure pockets so I don't need a purse when I wear them. The waist does not gape and there is some give in the stretch. The pockets lie flat and the shorts look great under a white linen shirt.
All the extreme motion shorts and pants are extremely comfortable. Look great but are extremely stretchy. These shorts have a tight ripstop pattern, look great, and wear comfortably. Everything is quality from the stitching to the buttons. You get what you pay for and they are pricey unless you get them on one of Lee's numerous sales when they are a fantastic deal. I won't wear anything else.

These are my go to shorts. The fit is great and I love all the pockets. They're designed so they don't catch on things like cabinet knobs. The cell phone pocket is a really great feature. I have 5 pairs. I hope Lee continues to make them.
These shorts have a wide elastic band around the waist. This makes them fit very well and comfortably.
Very comfortable and looks good. Like the phone pocket. Can get a little earm sometimes.

That feature alone has made these shorts my regular go-to.The pull-loops on the outside flap of both cargo pockets works quite well to easily yank open the pocket for access, something i'd never considered until working while wearing these shorts, and needing pocket access while also having my hands gunked up and not really in a position to fiddle with a velcro'd flap. Finger in pull, and pull. May seem trivial, but it is highly functional. Haven't yet caught that small loop on something, at which point would probably have typed out a different review. ; )Are there some minor tweaks i'd make to the Lee shorts line? Yes, but they're probably based on my own physiology, haha.
