I have a very physical job and also need to look professional, so these pants fit the bill! It's hard to find a khaki that has a high cotton fiber percentage, but still have enough flex from the synthetic fibers. These Lee khaki's have it. The high cotton percentage really makes a difference in how these feel against the skin. They are also durable enough to take wash after wash and hold up well. They do require ironing to look crisp, but they iron-up quickly. Also, because the material is a bit thinner than what's found in other brands, they feel light and very comfortable. These Total Freedom khaki's were out of production for a while, and I'm very happy Lee is making them again. I won't wear anything else when I'm working.

I have worn the MEN'S EXTREME MOTION KHAKI PANT (BIG & TALL) for almost 10 years. They had become my exclusive pant for casual and semi dress occasions. They were so durable and comfortable I even bought "work colors " in place of denim jeans. Unfortunately Lee had left meZero options but to sever our relationship. I bought the typical 3 pairs for the start of school year ( I teach) and the pocket blew out before lunch. I only had a wallet and 53cents in my pocket when I started dropping the change and almostLost the wallet. SameIssue last year but I paid to have new pocket sewn in. Refuse to do it anymore. Called Lee and they warranty refunded the one pair and after some major complaint they offered to waive the return shipping fee for the unworn pairs.I am ... I wear almost exclusively Lee bottoms (Cargo pants and shorts, jeans) on a daily basis for both work and leisure. The Extreme Comfort line are some of the best quality and best fitting pants and shorts I purchase and own (confirmed through my order history). And these synthetic cargo pants are definitely my favorite of the pants. They fit great....not too snug and not too baggy...very comfortable for all day work. HOWEVER, recently there have been inconsistencies in the pants themselves. Not necessarily from a quality control perspective, but actually different versions of the pants! Some have the patented "Extreme Motion" waistband, and some do not. Some have the "Lee" patch on the right back waistband, and some do not. The difference between the 2 "charcoal" ... The difference between the 2 "charcoal" colors is extremely minimal and not as dramatic as it appears in the pictures on the website. And finally as with many brands, the darker colors tend to run almost a full size smaller in the waist.I would certainly recommend the pants and I do prefer the ones I receive with the "extreme motion" waist. BUT....I shouldn't have to hope I'm getting the ones I want. I understand prodcuts may change, but I find it a good practice to notify my customer that these changes are implemented before I sell somehting under the same expectation I've sold it before. How about we try "NEW and IMPROVED" or insert an "MVP" in it like you've done with some of your other lines? I mean it's hard enough finding a good pair of pants these days to fit my ever changing "Dad Bod" as I fight the good fight against getting older...and bigger :(So to sum it up....The are great pants. The newest pair I have ordered (darker charcoal) are even better....with patented waisteband and Lee patch, and also new buttons (just noticed)! But, I also got a pair from the same line recently that are completely different. I will say that Lee's pictures on the website are accurate...so shop carefully. Try them out..you won't be sorry!

Wonderful pants EXCEPT for the chinzty zipper.Very comfortable!Shooting up the charts to be my favorite pants UNTIL the zipper broke.I got 3 wears out of them with zipper difficulty before TOTAL zipper failure; Disappointing.Previous pair I purchased ARRIVED with a broken zipper, but they had been sitting on the shipping box for 6 months or more before I finally opened the packaging to discover the broken zipper; to late to return, but that was on me.
I had previously purchased a few pair of this specific style of Lee Straight Fit Cargo Pants. These are NOT your conventional cargo style with huge, baggy external pockets, No, instead they have very discrete almost hidden slash entry and the right side has a zipper for safe retention of small and loose items. My wife was extremely impressed with the slimming style of these pants and encouraged me to get more in varied colors. I couldn't be more pleased with these pants and only wish they had come to my attention much earlier. I would appreciate it if Lee would make these in a few more color choices, especially in a navy blue.
I rely on these reviews, so here's my review of these pants. For context, I am short and overweight (and old :), and it is hard for me to find pants that fit nicely and are comfortable. For reference, I am 5'6" and 270 and have a 52" or 54" waist depending on the cut of the pants. These Navy, 54" waist, 28" inseam fit me almost perfectly. The issue when you're short and fat is that when you sit down, your belly bulges out a few more inches. These pants have Lee's fantastic Extreme Motion waist band built in, so they comfortably stretch out with my stomach while I'm sitting. The material is also a soft cotton with stretch built in and so the legs also stretch out comfortably when I'm sitting. I work from home for the most part and needed a pair of comfortable slacks ... I work from home for the most part and needed a pair of comfortable slacks that I could also wear when I go visit customers, and these fit the bill. They look casually nice, and they are the most comfortable chinos I have ever owned. I am so impressed that I bought two more pairs, one in navy and one in black. Also, Lee has two models of chinos that have very similar names and are confusing. This review is for the Extreme Motion relaxed fit chinos. However, I also bought their Extreme Motion Khaki pant in the 54"/28" size, and they are actually looser than the relaxed fit and aren't as comfortable and I had to have them shortened. You would think it would be the opposite, but the relaxed fit are actually a little slimmer fit or more tapered or both. Bottom line is that for my body they look and fit much better. Go figure :).Also, while I have been on a pants buying spree, I bought a pair of Lee's Men's Legendary relaxed straight jeans in the 54" waist and they were way too big around the waist and actually fell off without a belt! I have returned them and I'm waiting on a pair of 52" ones to see how they fit. Just FYI that the sizing changes with the type of pant quite a bit.But love the Extreme Motion Relaxed Fit chinos and highly recommend them.
Lee was always my go to casual pant. They always had the best fit, never too baggy or droopy in the seat and thigh, always just right. In my opinion Lee, you went and ruined your entire line of casual pants by incorporating this stretch material nonsense, and not offering your loyal customers any 100% cotton pants to choose from. These new pants fit good like Lee pants always have, but they just don't have the high quality look and feel of the all cotton pants. So good bye for now Lee, and thanks for the memories.
Wear to the office. I wore before washing and they wrinkled really bad. My wife told me I shouldn't have! She also told me after washing and drying they wouldn't do that. Right again. A value based pair of work khakis, but very different. Soft to the touch. Soft while wearing them. Extreme is the word. Super comfortable pants. All day comfort. I'm 67 yrs old and still go to the office almost everyday. I'm not a "slim" guy. Never have been. These are 36W 29L. Relaxed fit. They are perfect. I highly recommend them. And they're a good value. There's better quality pants. I have plenty of them. But thei don't "fit" any better than these. Try em
I do like Lee brand above all others. But, how they "fit" of yore is long gone. Now, I am talking about the cut and shaping of the material of 40years ago. They are all too shallow. The very first time I ever tried a Lee jeans, I was impressed how they fit! Description is it "sits at natural waist, but then, just barely. The Lee I remember had just a tad higher lines, but not too deep. I understand manufactures are cutting down on amount of material somehow. All those claim about high-tech STRETCH this and that which, to me, mostly, is a gimmick--they use it to use less material.About the material itself; I have no idea why black(or similar color) material feels so much more coarse and rigid compared to other colors but of the same material. Lighter colors(khaki) is far more comfortable for me. Will see how washing will change the feel of it. I know you are not to use bleach. But, I wear this at my work(restaurant). Just a note of caution;even the slightest of bleach splash will discolor it. Personally, I don't mind.
