These are quite possibly the cutest and most comfortable dress pants that I own. With that being said, I really wish that I could give them five stars in this review, but I just can’t. That’s how giant they were. They were overall incredibly baggy as well. I finally was able to return them both and get a size 8. Those pants fit perfectly. I went to wash them before wearing them first though, and the button came loose and was lost just on the first wash of these pants. The rest of the quality of the pants seems much better than their button sewing on quality, so that is good, but it’s annoying that I had to replace a button before even wearing them once. 

AN 18W INSTEAD OF AN 18M...

These Lee trousers have a classic cut, good for dress or work... when you're not allowed to wear jeans.The biggest challenge is getting the right size. The chart is way off. It does not match the available sizes, and the measurements are out of proportion. In addition, there may be the possibility of receiving a size you didn't order. As in my case, instead of an 18M, I received an 18W.Just for reference... My height is 5'5", and I weigh approximately 215 lbs. I have a 41" waist and 49" hips. I'm usually a size 16W or 18M. These sizes are the best match for my body type.As can be seen in the photo, the 18W was and looked too loose on me. Disappointed...

Although these pants seem to be well-constructed, and the fabric is a good year-round weight, these are NOT the same relaxed fit that Lee used to make! These are slimmer & straighter. I went up one size to allow for shrinkage in the dryer, but I will still have to air-dry these. I do NOT want pants that hug my curves like jeans. These almost do, even though I sized up. My normal size would have been too tight in the hip & thighs. And, yet, I had to take multiple darts around the too-large waist. For reference, I am 5'-7", 135 lbs., & curvy. I ordered the same pants in gray at the same time. They are slightly larger, & the legs were 1" longer. So, in addition to taking up the waist, I had to hem them in order to wear them with flats & low heels. I have worn Lee pants & jeans for 25 years, so I'm aware of the sizing inconsistency, but this is a change in cut & shape. They used to be the only pants that fit perfectly. Now, they are like most other brands - too straight & purposefully slim-fitting. Like so many other women, I need pants that fit curves & also fit like slacks, not jeans. I will be looking elsewhere from here on out. If I hadn't needed these ASAP, I would have returned them. SIDE NOTE: The size 8 Relaxed Fit Lee jeans I purchased just a few months ago fit perfectly - not too snug, no alterations needed, no air-drying required. Go figure.

Don't think I will buy again

First off, I was flabbergasted that the 6 pair of pants I purchased were not in any type of packaging inside the box! It had just started to rain, and I am so glad I got home before the downpour or else the box would have been sopping wet and the bottom pair of pants certainly would have been messed up. I have never ordered clothing from anywhere else and received them without the garment being in its own plastic bag for protection!!As for the pants, I was so excited to see that these pants were still made and sold (can't seem to find them in the stores in my size). I have several pair that are a few years old and need to be "retired" now as they are faded and worn. The material is not the same. These are thinner and not as warm and sturdy as my old ones. I'll never buy another brand of pants!

I wear these pants 6 days a week. I have them in 3 colors. They wear like iron, fade very little and look great wash after wash. They fit like no other brand, consistently. They may seem a little big for the size, but I like a little room to move. I would not call them loose, though. The pockets are generous and not prone to holes! I would rather pay twice as much for one pair of Lee than bother with any other brand, but the price is very reasonable considering the great quality!

NOT MY SIZE...

Perfect Pants

I love these pants. I have 10 pair in a variety of colors (wow.. I didn't realize that.. Obviously I really like these pants!). Very professional and stylish, just add the right top, shoes, accessories and boom! You'll be ready for work, church, a date, or even a funeral. I always get compliments. I do wish they would offer a few colors more suitable for spring/ summer. For reference: I'm 5'4, 158. I bought a size 8 Short. You'll be pleased with your purchase.

Sizing chart inaccurate

The sizing chart is not consistent with these pants. I measured myself several times before ordering to make sure I was ordering the correct size. The two pairs of pants I ordered arrived and were at least two sizes too big. I remeasured myself to see if I made an error and I didn't, the measurements still yielded the same incorrect sizing. When I contacted Lee about this I received a robo email informing me of the return process. A few days later, two more pairs of the same incorrect size pants arrived which I never requested or ordered. This entire experience has resulted in nothing but a hassle with now having to return four incorrectly sized pants in relation to the size chart. I've ordered from Lee many times in the past and never had an issue like this.

Sizing has Changed

I have purchased these pants many times for work, in the Khaki color. I always get a size bigger because they shrink and I do not like sitting in tight pants. This time I bought a size bigger in the black color and they just fit, so I am unable to dry them even on low. So I ended up buying 2 more pairs that are 2 sizes bigger than I usually wear. They shrunk as I expected but it's fine since they now fit. They are nice pants and last a long time with multiple washings, but the sizing and shrinkage is a concern.

Sizing perfect - sometimes

I had Lee's Sinfully Soft which were a dream to wear. Unfortunately, I wore through the knees. The relaxed fit pants fit well also, as long as one is standing or sitting. I wear them to work, and I shelve books at a library. That means that I do a lot of bending and kneeling, which pulls down the pants in the back, which means that I am pulling the pants up when I stand up.I have read in the responses to comments that there is not a big market for pants that go up to the waist. Maybe that is so because people like me who would buy them have gone elsewhere. I will not buy mid-rise pants again.
