The opportunity to lift the hood under the DeLorean and delve into my childhood was what's to good an opportunity to miss. The level of detail in this set and the satisfaction in being able to see such an iconic part of cinematic history come to life was an experience to remember. I can't help but imagine what it would be like to build out he replica of the street and clocktower were Marty heads back to the Future. Best set I've done yet and I'm looking forward to getting ecto-1 going in the next couple of weeks.

Being a big fan of BttF as soon as I heard of this new Delorean being available I had to have it. The previous one was OK, but doesn't hold a candle to this version. I've loved building it and I am currently half way through. I've had to stop for a short while as the windshield had some minor scratches on (barely noticeable to anyone other than me) and one of the stickers was not printed correctly. Luckily Lego are very good at replacing parts for free so this hasn't been too much of an issue. I'm looking forward to getting stuck back in. It's been a nice distraction from looking screens all day or playing on my Switch. The car looks fab and I love the LED lighting that's included for the FC, and I also love the silver pieces that make up the exterior of the car; ... Since watching Back to the future many…..many years ago much like every child I wanted a Delorian when I grew up. This is closest I think I will ever get . I brought the original smaller Delorian years ago and thought that was an awesome set but this one literally blows that out of the water. The price may seem a little steep for what appears to be a small set but I can assure you there is hours of building in this one. If you like Back to the Future and Lego it is a must.
I'm sure everyone else is using "Great Scott!" as their review title! But definitely "Great Scott!" is the first thing that came to mind when I heard the news of this set being released. It flew off the shelves so quick on day one... and so I waited patiently to order it online... and bingo!It's a fantastic build with absolutley mind boggling ways the unusual ways the angles line up! I really appreciate how it's not just build and display, but it's build, display, and then reconfigure to another movie's version, display, reconfigure again, etc etc. Great addition for any collector and still offers heaps of play factor for younger builders! All round - a great set!
I bought this BTTF set in the Zavvi sale at a really good price. What can I say about the set itself other then how fantastic it is. If you’re a fan of Lego or BTTF it’s simply a must have. The quality is obviously up to the usual Lego standard and the detail is enough to keep any BTTF aficionado more then happy. The service from Zavvi was top notch too, it came quickly and was well packed. I’m 100% happy with absolutely no complaints about the set or the service. Just buy it!

The Delorean DMC12 Time Machine from the BTTF movie trilogy is a faithful reproduction of the car with all the gadgets added on. Amazing set love the fact that it can quickly covert to all three models. The hover board and the case of plutonium is a cute touch. In addition the light brick that lights the flux capacitor is awesome. One lever function to change wheels to flying mode. Yo be honest the only thing that could make this set better would be Einstien the dog!
As a fan of BTTF I had to get one (two) of these kits. Once finished I was actually impressed with the meticulous detail that was put into it. Especially the shape and angles of the car itself. Was really well done.That being said there are a few down sides. One minor thing is the need to reuse pieces. To make the different versions you have to dismantle parts of one to use on another. It's more annoying than anything as a straight swap would have been more convenient. Considering it's like four or so small bricks. Another, the doors don't stay up. As soon as they're open the weight of them makes them slowly close so photos can be tricky.
