It’s a very reasonable Lego set compared to the other flowers. The set was very easy to build and was pretty quick. The price is $20 dollars cheaper than the orchid. The only thing I dislike about this set is the size, but for the price it is reasonable to me.
As a fan of the LEGO botanical sets, this one was a delight to build! Excellent value for what you’re getting as an end result. Admittedly as somewhat of a beginner I had some light difficulty with the flower buds, but nothing too taxing or frustrating. This is an amazing decor piece for anyone who enjoys the botanical sets, or anyone who wishes to have a very easy to build floral set to add a pop of Japanese flavor and style into any household. I hope to see more floral sets like this in the near future!
I was really excited when I saw the two new sets coming out, this one and the chrysanthemum. This was a fun and quick build, enjoyable one day while I was stuck at home sick. I enjoy builds like this sometimes when I just want to put something together but not spend days doing it. It’s very cute displayed with my other botanicals. Love the pot on this one the most!
After I built this elegant set, I looked up what a plum blossom looked like and this set doesn't really capture the essence. It is neat and goes well with the Chrysanthemum. A little annoyed that the Botanical seasonal set doesn't match the Orchid (one of the four season) and the Bamboo (another part of the season) isn't released. I'm guessing it'll release in due time.
It is a quick build. Attractive, but there’s something about the overall aesthetic and price that I wasn’t 100% sold on. $30 seems high as the orchid and kingfisher sets are $50 and 2-4 flower stem sets are $14-20. I have the potted orchid, zen garden and pre ordered the chrysanthemum. It felt logical to put this in the cart as well to round out my collection. Posting a finished pic soon
