I didn’t realise that I had a substitute Lego set and on researching the substitute, 11013, I found it was only worth £19.99. I paid £25.00 for the half price set I was expecting. It really wasn’t what I wanted at all. I liked the rainbow bricks rather than special features. May I return it unopened with my next delivery please? I hope you will get the other bricks in soon? Thank you. Otherwise, my delivery was excellent as usual.

Bricks

I purchased this for my son who absolutely loves it.I really wanted just rectangle and square bricks soWe can build big houses and castles so I was very disappointed as there are not enough brinks and I can’t seem to find a box of just blocks. I think the name bricks is deceiving.

Fantastic!

This is going to be a Christmas gift for my son, who is 3 (he'll turn 4 a month after Christmas.) I wish it was Christmas tonight, I am so excited to give this to him! He has a good amount of Duplo right now and loves to build with those, and also just a few classic Legos. He is so determined, trying to build his creations with the few classic bricks that he has. He is going to absolutely flip out when he sees how many bricks he has to build with now!I've uploaded some photos from the manual that hopefully will be visible, to show exactly which bricks are contained. I purchased a 4x2 storage brick to put this in, and all 1500 pieces fit easily, it probably filled the box about half way up. Great To Give Your Brain & Hands Some Exercise.

Lego is one of the best educational products on the market and a big plus for my wife as she says it keeps me extremely quiet. This set is must have if you want to make your own models or use as a add on for other sets. Its not just a toy its for all ages so if you havent tried Lego give it a go, you will not regret it.

Great classic LEGO at a decent sale price!

Purchased a few of these LEGO sets when i noticed they were on a 50% off sale. For that price it was hard not to buy a few, one for my little and maybe others as gifts coming up to Christmas. At the price paid, 1500 pieces is a lot of LEGO. Think it worked out as around 1p a piece! Amazing! The items were delivered in a box that looked like it was damaged in transit, thankfully none of the actual LEGO boxes I purchased were damaged.You get a huge range of colours and sizes of bricks in this set and its a great set for someone to have as a next step up from Duplo. My little one has lots of fun building towers and making things, keeps her occupied and its nice to see her focus and use her imagination. All in all, great set at a great discounted price. George may need to package their items better as it was very lucky none of my sets were damaged.

Lots of Lego!

I bought this as an early Christmas present for my Granddaughter who loves lego. This is what I'd call a supplementary set to boost the build options of other, smaller themed lego sets with a massive 1500 useful pieces. I was incredibly lucky as I was originally going to buy from Amazon but my wife pointed out to me that Asda also sell similar sets either in store or online. I duly checked and to my suprise and delight the set was there and in the sale at nearly 50% off! I obviously bought it immediately, clicked on the click and collect and it was in my possession a day later. I'm delighted and come Christmas I'm sure my Granddaughter will be too, which is the most important thing!

Mixing vibrant colours with functionality

I needed something for the desk dividers that I was building and the 1500 pieces Classic Bricks helped make statement pieces. The colours are amazing and they layer nicely when building the dividers. It was fun starting with a neutral colour to then add new more vibrant colours for each layer. The colours are quite distinct but blends well together.

Is says 1500 (I think it's 1496 actually) but you don't really realize how many that is until you open all the packs and the minipacks within them. We've built a few random things (see photos) and still have a shoe box full of bricks left. In fact I noted several reviews on the official lego website complain there are not enough of the actual bricks, but let me tell you the diversity of pieces included is amazing! The pieces were also really thoughtfully selected for this set, as there are just enough same pieces of the same color (usually 4-8) to make what you need. Too many small pieces

I wish Lego would take on the customer feedback. There are many reviews of Classic sets that say there are too many small pieces, both on here and on Amazon. They always respond with a cut-and-paste response about providing variety. That's great, if you want a variety box. We have the many wheels set, the many windows set and a few others. They are great, but younger kids want to build big chunky houses and towers, not delicate little shop fronts and intricate model telephones. Someone suggested set 6177 and that's exactly what we need to pad out our collection, not more little 1x1 blocks, eyes and studs. I thought Bricks Bricks Bricks would provide what we need, but it only has four 4x2 bricks of each colour - hardly a bricks collection.

Ultimate Starter Pack

There's 1500 pieces in all different colours. It was pretty much everything I expected, however, there's a few things that I feel could be improved.+ More larger plates. I would have liked at least 6 or 7 larger plates to build on.+ 1 or 2 extra lego separators. If this was purchased for children or a family, I think it would be nice to have at least one additional lego separator tool.+ Some type of storage.
