Honestly love this set, some complain about the amount of transparent bricks but like I feel like it shouldn’t be a big issue. The only problem I have is that the orange transparent bricks only come in 1x2 slope form and 1x1 bricks, they give you so much of the slopes and some of the normal bricks but that’s all the transparent bricks for orange, it’s a shame because red and other colors have like at least 4 different types of bricks in their transparent form. I like the glitter purple bricks, and my favorite is the clear headlight, it looks so cool. Honestly this set is a 4.5/5 only problem being that the orange is lacking bricks, you only get 2 types, other than that I love this set, definitely getting another in a month or few months from now.

My little girl loves Lego and unlike when I was a kid you don't just buy big jugs of lego and let your imagination run wild. Kids these days get lego kits with instructions. Those are fun and done. Im going with these creative bricks!

I think other reviewers should have looked at pics of what they were getting. I am satisfied that not every piece is not a transparent. I do not feel mislead. I think the price is ok, maybe $5 too much, but ok. I like the building ideas that this comes with. So it is not just pieces, but some builds as well. Set has been back ordered, so it must be popular. Now I have more, and some unique trans parts. I am happy.

Sadly my childhood Lego sets are no longer with me and I have been starting to get into Lego with my boys. One of the hardest things about not having the old sets anymore if missing the unique pieces I can still vividly recall. That includes a plethora of transparent pieces. I only wish there were more in the package.
To be fair I probably should have given this set a better rating, as most ppl would probably be satisfied with this variety of bricks. Still I feel if you are going to release a "transparent bricks" box. Why are the majority not transparent? If I wanted solid colored bricks, I would not choose the transparent brick box. My other issue is the color selection. I hate that trans orange you use now. One of my favorite aspects of lego is the UV reaction of a few of the transparent brics(newish solid color "coral" seems to glow as well). Why lego rarely uses those is very annoying. I can't be certain what the official color names are, but here's what I know them by. Transparent Bright green, Transparent Neon yellow, transparent bright Orange, & transparent medium blue. I ... I just realized there are at least four trans blue shades, so I don't know about that last one. I've also read about a rarely used different trans yellow that glows under blacklight as well, but Ive never seen nor have any of those bricks. This set does use a few trans bright green, but 3 pieces isn't going to satisfy me. I've included side by side picks showing the difference between the trans bricks that glow vs the new bricks that do not. Also includes a pic showing how few translucent bricks you receive compared to solid color bricks. I simply can't understand this at all.
Fun box of Legos! Has neat transparent colors, plus solid colors. And it gives instructions/pieces for a few ideas like a Unicorn, wizard, coral with fish. Fun to see what the kids make out of it themselves. It's the only way we have found to build a lego unicorn.
Bought these for my grandson who loves Lego! There are many transparent "specialty" blocks in the set. Water spurts, windows, etc. I though it was worth the price. It's Lego! Classic and timeless!
I got this for my daughter for Christmas. After we removed and discarded all packaging when we tried to assemble a few of the creations we found some pieces missing. But besides at is a great product. I must have just been unlucky to receive a faulty product.
My 4.5 year old daughter really enjoyed the builds in this set. She could complete almost all of them independently. she would have liked more glittery blocks! The number of blocks was not overwhelming. Having two builds per bag was very manageable for a child her age. My one complaint was that unlike some other Classics sets, there were not instructions for the remaining pieces, even online. Only about half the pieces are used in completing the builds. We enjoy being creative with our legos and mix them together after the first couple builds with a new set but my daughter really enjoys following instructions right now and the builds with instructions really help her to learn different techniques.
I'm an AFOL, and I'm not ashamed of it. Although I usually like to build modern houses (usually in neutral colors), I think this may be the cutest set I've ever gotten. Thinking it was just bricks (yes I ordered this particular set because I wanted the glitter ones), I was surprised and delighted by the accessories included (particularly the crab and the teapot). This set made me so happy, I felt like a kid again. I think I'm gonna go play with this set now. Or maybe I'll order more legos. Or both. If lego had made sets like this when I was a kid, I would have spent every penny of my allowance on blocks. Legos are amazing, and this set is the cutest classic set ever.
