The provided directions for making some of the already designed creations were great, and inspired him to make some of his own projects using gears. My 5 year old daughter enjoyed making the different things - it offered just the right amount of challenge for her age. I thought it was good value too.
My 5 year old grandson loves building according to the enclosed instructions and he also enjoys just building what he likes. He’s had hours of fun. This is the best box of LEGOs I have purchased. I highly recommend it. It contains wheels, and gears to make things move.
LEGO itself is 5 star but I don't quite this box format. It is like to buy the Kinder Surprise Egg without the chocolate. It keeps the kids entertained only the first time they build it. In the future I will just spend the money on some loose bricks instead
Ensure children playing with it are a certain age - as bricks are small and could be a choking hazard. However, lovely colours - worth even buying 2-4 packs!!
This item is an outstanding value. Pulled the instruction book apart making 7 separate activities plus had other parts left which I have been using on other projects.
I do not understand the positive reviews on this set. 90% of the pieces are small/tiny pieces that are impossible to build anything with any kind of shape or size. Not what I would call a “classic” set. I wish I had known before I purchased it. Waste of money.
Leggos are amazing for kids. Gets them off the tablets and computers. We used to play back in the day. Nice to see my kids playing again, well worth the buy.
