I bought this as a gift for me, my nephews and nieces to make together. As it is an advanced lego set (Ages 12+). I think the team work aspect and giving everyone something to do as a good exercise.I think it is a good landmark design and is one of those lego pieces you put together and leave that way on a shelf to remind the kids of Sydney City.

This item was bought as a gift for my adult son, who still loves Lego after 30+ years! The price was very competitive and the order and click and collect process very straightforward. I can't comment on the quality of the item, but from past experience I know it will be good. Easier to order and collect from my local Asda than to go round various stores looking for the best price (and availability).

I bought this for a friend overseas so I've not opened it. However, it was the right price and lightweight, and sturdy enough making it perfect to send overseas. The sleek design on packaging is also cool. I did read good reviews on this particular set before purchasing.

I bought this for a kid who is on the spectrum and loves intense concentration and fine motor work - he has almost all the LEGO racing cars - this was a new idea and a new challenge. He thinks it is really ‘cool’. I am delighted. I won’t have to think about what to buy him for Christmas, we can travel the world’s cities with LEGO.
Lego has much better Skyline architecture sets if you are looking to only get a few like Las Vegas, Paris, San Francisco or Shanghai. However if you are looking to collect all the Skyline sets then you have to get this one. Build is nothing exciting. I give it a C grade for the Architecture line.
Our 8 year old put on his Christmas list to Santa a 3D model of the Sydney Opera House! Not knowing how to make that happen I googled and discovered the Lego Architecture range.. who knew! Ordered it online with Myer and it arrived in plenty of time for Christmas. Needless to say our son was thrilled and could not figure out how Santa managed a Lego set with the Opera House! I am already thinking about the next Lego Architecture set to get.
Really enjoyed making this. Although I am a lot older than the age range specified for this set so should have found it very easy to make some bits of the build proved quite challenging, specifically the roof on the Sydney Opera House.get some help. The small parts can prove a problem for the older builder. One of the supports for the Bridge was shorter than the others but we contacted Lego and they are sending the correct replacement for free. Excellent service. Only criticism would be that sometimes it was hard to distinguish what colour and shape a piece should be from the written instructions. Hard to distinguish between black and blue.
What a great set! Having walked on top of the Sydney Tower and slapped the "W" in the Westfield sign, putting this set together was a little extra fun!Sydney's really a beautiful city. This set reminds me of spending time around Sydney Harbor, enjoying mind-blowing seafood along with my view of the bridge, followed by drinks at the Opera House. It's a great tribute to a fantastic city!
This is definitely the best looking LEGO Architecture Skyline set – the landmarks are the most distinctive and the build techniques are very varied. It's an easy set to build and it's fantastic to display, absolutely love it! It could be even better if the Sydney Harbour Bridge was longer (in line with its true proportions relative to the Sydney Opera House).
This is another great addition to the Lego Architecture series. I'm glad I bought it. It was a lot of fun to build and it turned out to be really pretty. I like that it doesn't look like a toy. It looks more like an art piece. I recommend the Lego Architecture series to all adults who want to experience the fun of Legos. I have previously built the Arc De Triomphe, UN Headquarters, and Chicago Skyline from the Lego Architecture series. The only thing that could be improved upon here is the instructions. There is too much black at the beginning of the building process for this piece. It's very hard to discern where to put the pieces together from the instruction booklet because a lot of it looks the same due to being the same color. Everything is hard to see. Other ...
