This is another great addition to the Lego Architecture series. I actually had no interest in this set to begin with because I didn't find the Chicago skyline to be all that amazing or remarkable, but the beauty of this set when I saw it on display is what won me over. I'm glad I bought it. It was a lot of fun to build and it will make a great decoration for my apartment. I like that it doesn't look like a toy. It looks more like an art piece. I recommend the Lego Architecture series to all adults who want to experience the fun of Legos. I have previously built the Arc De Triomphe and UN Headquarters from the Lego Architecture series. I felt like this was a quicker build than those two. The only thing that could be improved upon here is the instructions. There is too much black at the beginning of the building process for this piece. It's very hard to discern where to put the pieces together from the instruction booklet because a lot of it looks the same due to being the same color. Other than that, I love it.

Enjoyable!

This is MY first LEGO set just for me. I've helped my son through the years and my grandson recently with their LEGO sets but it's nice to have one only for me - selfish!I lived in Chicago for a year so it has been lovely reminiscing as I've constructed the set. It's not been too challenging and it has encouraged me to get more from the Architecture series. Next up is the Guggenheim.

Fun family activity, even for adults!

I used this as a game night with my dad and brother! Some pieces were tiny but it was fun to put it together though. Being from Chicago it's also a great centerpiece and conversation piece as well that we did as a family. I just wish it came in a lager size it only measure 8 inches.

Great set!
9 January 2019

This set presents a very detailed image of Chicago. I like how the set utilizes depth to resemble the actual city. I am from Chicago, and I really enjoyed building a souvenir that I could keep in my room (with some help from my more experienced younger brother). Also, the information in the instruction booklet is a fantastic addition!

I love Chicago
27 November 2017

This is my first build and I really enjoyed it. Not to difficult and looks great when it’s complete. The only change I would like to see is “the bean”... not quite the right shape. Everything else is accurate and the booklet comes with fun details about the buildings. Can’t wait to build another.

I was overdue for another visit anyway!
2 October 2018

Another great set for the Architecture line! In a city where picking the buildings to include would be nearly impossible, they've done a great job of recreating these. Chicago's a blast and this set reminds me of roaming around downtown the first few times I visited. Glad they included the bridge - It was crossing that bridge I first had to stop and take a picture of the beautiful view!

More Welcomed Upgrades
18 January 2017

The new Chicago skyline set is a welcomed addition to the Architecture series. Not only does it show off some of Chicago's greatest landmarks, but it gives that ones that have been sets previously in the series greatly needed upgrades, especially the John Hancock Center. This new version leaves less to the imagination like its predecessor and looks more like the truly iconic building we all know. The fun little details like the DuSable Bridge and Cloud Gate made this all the more enjoyable. A fun build and a set finally worthy of showing off some of Chicago's great architecture.

Really Cool looking Skyline
16 January 2018

This was the first Architecture skyline set I ever bought and it was a great introduction to the line, I thought it looked really cool and Chicago is a city I've always loved. The build took me about half an hour and there were a lot of interesting building techniques involved and the end product looks fantastic, its a lot bigger than I expected it to be from the pictures I had seen! This looks great on a desk or any kind of work top space, and this slick, smart Chicago skyline has definitely made me want to get more to add to it, definitely worth buying if you're a fan of Lego architecture and is also a good one to get if its your first time buying a sky line set, good value for money and the end product looks really cool.

Stunning!
11 March 2018

Keep in mind that this is my first Architecture build and 4th lego build...When I first started the build I almost gave up as I did not understand the instructions. After 4 attempts of taking it back apart and trying again, I finally figured it out. The background of the pages in black and with the black bricks made it difficult plus the fact that I was not use to not attaching bricks.Once I got the hang of the build I was hooked! I so enjoyed the construction. I read the history of each building as I went along and that made it feel like I was the builder. lolThe completion was stunning. It is really a set to admire. One thing I really appreciate, is that I learned some history! I would highly recommend these products!

Terrific Model!
19 December 2017

I am in love with this Architecture model! It has a small overall size, but the piece count is just fine. I love all the rare elements in this set (and even some custom pieces), and if I ever dismantle it, I'll have a nice array of awesome pieces. The detail on this set is also crazy. I'm thinking about buying the other skyline sets already!
