I have been gifting the Lego Architecture sets to my brother for Christmas gifts for 5 years now. He absolutely loves them. He uses Christmas vacation to put them together and he then puts them all on display. They look like a little city right now because he has so many. I like London the most though as it has the Ferris Wheel featured in its design.

I loved Legos as a child and now have found myself really enjoying these architecture sets and other “grown up” Lego sets like these. As someone with an anxious mind I find that I’m able to zone out a little bit while putting these together and any activities that can do that for me are a blessing. These sets are so detailed but come with extremely thorough instructions that make it easy to go step by step. This is a simple little joy that is very relaxing to me.

This is a fun set for the London skyline. It was pretty easy to assemble. The buildings are lit up nicely, as is the water. The London Wheel though, is not my favorite. The lights change color and speed at random, and there is no way to control that. It would have been nice to have a way to pause the flickering on occasion, even cooler if you could change the colors as well. I like the switch to a white main cord (instead of black) as well.

This Lego Architecture was a Christmas present to my grandson. For his birthday two days earlier, I gave him a Star Wars Lego which he completed within hours. He has a keen interest in building and construction and was again delighted to receive this gift. As he has visited London this piece was certainly received with much pleasure and enthusiasm. Thank you again Myer for your prompt delivery and excellent service
I haven’t made this up yet as I’ve been collating my Lego kits and then ordering protective acrylic cases to put them in to keep them intact and dust proof. Unfortunately the cases take a while to arrive. But I couldn’t resist ticking the London architecture set off my list when there was such a good Zavvi deal on it. My aim is to collect and build the cities that I’ve visited and some landmarks. I’ve previously built a small Lego replica of the Empire State Building, so I know that these kits are straightforward, great quality and fun. Looking forward to finishing it.
As an adult, other than enjoyment, I buy lego that I can display. The Architecture sets are a little difficult in that the heights and widths can be awkward but I have a plan with custom corner shelfing to display these together.London was enjoyable to build. Always like the bridges and the clear brick elements for the water.1 thing I did not enjoy was the London Eye...maybe I didn't build it correctly but seems to come off a bit off perfectly round and very loose sitting. Think there would be a way to make it more spoked and thus more round and also able rotate.
The Architect London Lego was a gift for my now nine year old grandson who is Lego mad. He was really excited to have received it because he hadn’t had any of the Architecture Lego series before now. It took him 2 hours to assemble and it looks amazing a little smaller than I was expecting but the detail is very impressive and quite educational for a young man.
This was my first Lego set in 45 years and despite initially thinking it was quite expensive it was quite detailed and I really enjoyed completing it.It didn't take too long to make and the instructions are fairly easy to follow. I found the wheel the most difficult to build as you need to have the pieces lined up otherwise it tilts a bit. I would have preferred the top pieces of the wheel to be white as it would look better. The instruction booklet has an error where it shows all black bricks but two of them should be grey, also it is quite hard to see the pictures as the background is black. However I would recommend this set and I'm looking forward to completing more of this series.
This is my first Lego architecture line (a gift from a close relative), and as a Brit I'm jolly pleased to have received a cityscape of London. The design is a smart, delicate, well thought-through build to a Lego architecture set. The shapes and subtle colour schemes of the miniature buildings balance with each other perfectly. To achieve such detail on a remarkably small-scale is very impressive.Whilst the majority of the build was relatively straight forward, I found the building of the London Eye to be most tricky in terms of achieving symmetry with the 'pods' around the wheel. It's a clever design but the wheel does tend to wobble around a lot if being moved. But as it's a display piece I don't think this really matters. It's worth remembering though, that ... MoreThis is my first Lego architecture line (a gift from a close relative), and as a Brit I'm jolly pleased to have received a cityscape of London. The design is a smart, delicate, well thought-through build to a Lego architecture set. London is my favorite of the four Lego Architecture skyline strand sets I have at this time. Its attention to detail on the rear side is the best I've seen.I thought that the construction of the London Eye was brilliant and inspired. The bridge was detailed and beautiful. However, in comparison, the National Gallery was unimpressive. Also, I had a slight problem with the 'boat' floating under the Tower Bridge, for a while I couldn't quite believe it was a boat. It really was just a little add-on that was not that great. I removed mine from the set after displaying it with my others. Finally, I was disappointed yet again with the amount of pieces going in to construct the platform. Four hundred and sixty-eight pieces seems like a lot, but when so many go into the platform, far fewer are used on the details that make these sets so special.Altogether, the set was fun to build and is beautiful. As is the case with most things, there were a few disappointments, but the set as a whole is wonderful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes the realistic side of Lego building.
